Today I'm sharing something near and dear to my heart, I'm on a mission to get this gorgeous girl a much needed headstone.

This angel is the beautiful Addy, she is the daugher of our co-worker and now close friend Amy's daughter.
Addylin was born at 24+1 weeks, weighing a teeny 630gms, but Addy was born a fighter. She fought hard and made it home, until she unfortunately passed away in Starship at 7months old due to complications from catching a cold, on her fragile preemie lungs. It is fast approaching 8 Years since Addy passed away and until this point Amy has been unable to afford a headstone due to personal circumstances. Amy has been working with us for almost two years now and we can see this is absolutely destroying her. She feels guilty for putting herself and her other 3 children first. She is too proud to ask for help.
We have decided 8 years is long enough, Addy deserves a headstone just as beautiful as her.

It's been a wild week!
Wasn't sure we'd make it out alive, but with 15 minutes to spare we did it!
42 Hoodies, 1 milestone poster, a birth print, outline drawing and some birthday invitations.
It was a mammoth effort for a one man band, but I plucked some beauties from my village and we got the job done.

A few weeks ago I had the absolute privilege of being a part of my baby sisters special day, I don't just mean being maid of honor.... no, she put me to work 🤣

Invites, decals, signage, name place cards, menus and drink tokens done by yours truly.
Such a honor to have someone believe in your work to have it as an integral part of their big day!

A massive shout out to Kylie who gathered up her girl gym gang from Fielding and donated all these goods to those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.

A shout out to Sammy who donated a generous amount of money so I could buy food for those working hard in one of our worst hit areas - Puketapu.

I'm beyond words the generosity and kindness of strangers has been incredible.

Due to severe flooding in Napier we have been completely cut off as most of our bridges have been washed away, we have no power and could be for days as our powerstation is completely submerged. After 24 hours of no social media or contact with our families we are finally seeing for the first time the extent of the damage to our region. The scenes are absolutely unreal. It's been a wild 48 hours, and it's just surreal. But thankfully, we are safe, our family is safe and we are slowly making contact with our friends. I'll be unable to reply to messages and complete any work for the foreseeable future. Please stay safe x

I might just be the worst at social media. The juggle of two kids, a part time job and running a house hold has me running round like a headless chicken.
