The insurance company is playing ball, but they tried to run some ol' "banana in my tailpipe" S*&T. It was hilarious.

Repwest rental policy is reimbursement. You will have to pay for the rental up front. Once you have receipt you can email or upload. Once I receive I can review and issue payment. Repwest does not cover gas, tips, mileage or added coverage. Repwest covers $35-$45 a day for rental.

The only way to get a 35-day rental is to go through an insurance company. Typically, they cost much more. So what about the difference?

I really don’t want to have to go to court over this. But you already see that I’m a lawyer.

Dear Members,

The CBA condemns former President Donald Trump’s continued and recently heightened campaign of unfounded and dangerous accusations and personal attacks directed towards members of the judiciary, their staff, prosecutors, and their families. Mr. Trump’s statements labeled the judges and prosecutors handling his cases as “deranged,” “evil,” “crooked,” and “sick.” His social media posts identified by name and photograph a family member of one of the judges overseeing one of the cases currently pending against him. This dangerous rhetoric is intended or at least carries with it an unacceptable risk of both inciting violence and intimidating those public servants who are the backbone of our nation’s judicial branch.

Words matter, especially when they come from leaders whose conduct others will replicate, or worse, take to the next level. Here in Connecticut, we have witnessed similar vitriol and behavior from people who have posted online judges’ home addresses, photos, and the make and model of their cars, while also referencing ammunition and specific models of fi****ms and making unfounded claims about bias and coercion. Our judges have been stalked and harassed at work and at home. In New Jersey, a litigant who had made threatening internet posts against a federal judge showed up at her house with a gun, fatally shooting her son and wounding her husband. Words matter. Words have consequences.

Judges should not be required to issue orders barring litigants from engaging in reckless and malicious behavior designed to intimidate or threaten those involved in the judicial system, including court staff, their families, witnesses, and potential jurors. Political leaders who purport to believe in the Constitution should never place judges in that position through their own behavior. That behavior should never be the norm.

The CBA has been committed to supporting our state and federal legal systems and the rule of law since 1875. We cannot, and will not, remain silent. We oppose and condemn efforts undertaken by any political leader that seeks to undermine the independent operation of our judiciary and the public’s trust in the legal system because of personal animus.

I'm getting a little tired of hearing from all the people who absolutely refuse to participate in primaries while they complain about the Presidential Election choices.

The Primary winners aren't popular enough for you, huh?

Well, they were much better selections than the one that most Americans choose: Nobody.

Here's how it works. The choices you refuse to make will be made FOR you. It's nobody's job to deliver a candidate you like, to you. That will never happen. You can't send others to the grocery store for you and expect them to return with all your favorite products.

Tomorrow is the 60th Anniversary of the Civil Rights March on Washington, one of the most successful political movements for legislative change, in American history.

Currently, 95% of Americans revere MLK for his leadership during that period.

But it's important to remember that the last Gallup poll to ask about his popularity during his lifetime, taken in 1966, found his unfavorable rating was 63%.

The lesson here is to do what is right, regardless of temporal popularity.

The fact that King is now beloved and has a national holiday commemorating his birthday wasn't something that during his lifetime appeared would obviously happen. During the 1960s, King was a very divisive figure.
