It's great to see (and obviously hear) the love and support for the upcoming debut album by Søren Skov Orbit, coming out on Frederiksberg Records in late August, pre-order will be up soon.

This album has a deeper meaning for me. It's the first new album, meaning not a reissue, we're doing at Frederiksberg. On top of that, Søren and I have been close friends for many years and we worked together on the Carsten Meinert Kvartet "To You" reissue which was the second title on FRB.

Ray Ragnhild Adams released her only album, "Allande," in 1997 as a cassette tape. Many years later Simon Eliasson found a copy. Luckily for us, Simon had the foresight to digitize the tape right away. If he hadn't done that, I'm not sure we could have reisused it.

So far we've only come across two copies of this tape. Ray's and Simon's copy, none of them are in playing condition today.

Some months back we reissued Ray's album digitally and now it's back out on cassette again for the first time since it was originally released. Tomorrow Saturday, there will be a release party at local Malmö record shop Dåndimpen from 4-6 pm.
