Nightlife & Ballroom Archivist Award

Thank you Pioneer RR Chanel & Icon Luna Khan for honoring my 16+ years of visual & creative contributions to the Ballroom Scene & LGBT community.

While my time on the floor was brief my love for the culture was certainly not, from shooting the Rumble Ball & Vogue Knight Flyers to creating visuals for the scene’s top performers, to TENz, the leading multimedia platform for ballroom and the surrounding q***r of Color community.

As a digital art director also working in nightlife, I learned just as much through the scene as I have on set or a desk and my goal has always to provide compassionate and memorable work.

My career in the field of visual arts has allowed me to work with international brands, magazines, record labels, and celebrities. Clients have included Sephora, Adidas, Logo TV, ABC News, NY Public Library, The Guggenheim, White House Black Market, Essence & L’Uomo Vogue. 

As a Digital Art Director I have been a vital asset to rising and legacy brands by providing my command of cutting-edge design techniques, insights on pop culture & counter culture, while shepherding the production process of all creative.
