Taco Wagon

Taco Wagon Suck free radio since 1991. http://tacowagon.fm We eventually stopped because of the RIAA and all the legal crap associated with webcasting.

Taking different forms since it's debut in 1991, the radio show known as "Taco Wagon" was the brain child of one Jon "Crazy Pablo" Roren. Started as a show on SUNY Oswego's WOSR cable-access radio station in the Fall of 1991, the show made the leap to FM at the newly-re-christened 88.9 FM WNYO, where it ran until 1995. Matt "Jismo" Willis was a frequent guest/co-host, and one day in 1999, was bore

d enough to create a home-made webcasting station that ran off of servers made up of 21 Macintosh computers in his closet. We had paid over $4000 to BMI and ASCAP to stay legal, but apparently that wasn't enough for a hobbyist station to continue. You can still find some of the interviews we did online if you Google hard enough. In 2011 Pablo surprised Matt by ripping some shows from the Oswego-era and putting them online. This spurred Matt into figuring out a way to bring the Wagon back without breaking either the bank or the law. Taco Wagon is now living on Live365. This may or may not be a temporary home, but it sure is cool to be able to listen to it on your iPhone.
