VT Fundamentals Interactive Workshop for Hands-On Therapy Training with Tom Headline
Provides Hands-on experience with basic background information about Vision Therapy and the Visual Process. It is designed to apply theoretical information with practical hands-on application.
This course will be presented by Tom Headline over a two-day weekend at Western University, Pomona CA.
It is designed to provide foundational knowledge for those new to the field of vision therapy. This VT Fundamentals workshop will provide 12 hours of education and resource materials for participants.
VT Fundamentals is appropriate for OD’s new to VT, new therapists and for building increased confidence in current therapists.

Neuro-Optometry plays a major role in neuro-rehabilitation of visual dysfunction especially following brain injury, but also with more common systemic illnesses like high fevers or ear infections. A medical history of these conditions as well as other stress-related syndromes can reveal potential imbalances in the autonomic nervous and endocrine systems, which can impact myriad visual functions. The use of specific frequencies of light applied through the eyes via Optometric Phototherapy can rebalance the autonomic nervous system, and serve as a powerful tool to assist in the treatment of various visual dysfunctions at their source.
