I have received notification from the printers that shipping of Celts to the UK warehouse is planned for the 17th May. This normally takes a couple of days.

With shipment imminent the pre order store closes tomorrow and cards will be charged in pledge manager.

Please make sure addresses are upto date.

April 1 2024: Brittannia Game Designs is proud to announce the launch of Brass Monkeys, a new roleplaying game about competitive brass band playing in Thatcher’s Britain.
Players will take on the role of musical South Yorkshire miners in a world of pit closures, the Miners’ Strike, and the Falklands War.
“Stories in roleplaying games are driven by conflict,” said Stephen Turner, founder and managing director of BGD. “This game has it all – harsh Thatcherite policies, communities torn apart, pickets versus scabs, and above all the players’ efforts to get their band to the nationals and win the Brass Band of the Year competition.
“There’s never been a roleplaying game like it.”
Based on the Skillskape mechanic that powers BGD’s renowned medieval fantasy RPG Chivalry & Sorcery, Brass Monkeys willl take bardic performance to new levels of detail.
“Embrasure, fi*****ng, timing, musicality – player characters will have to max out their technical skills and musicianship to have a hope of reaching the nationals,” said Turner.
“And the unique Focus mechanic will see if they can concentrate on their performance despite the conflicts going on in their work and home lives. Every conflict resolved before a performance will make it easier for them to lose themselves in the music.
“PC bands can also boost their confidence – and chances of ultimate victory – by defeating their arch-rivals in qualifying competitions. But should their rivals beat them in the qualifiers, their task will be even harder.”
Brass Monkeys will be published in exactly one year, on April 1 2024.
