Good morniiiing ☀️ how much better is it waking up to sunshine!?

This corner was looking extra bright this morning with arch I painted yesterday. The checkerboard effect was pretty time consuming and a bit of a pain doing free hand (ran out of frog tape doing the stripes last week!) but I think it turned out quite well!

What a difference! That third pic shows just how bare it was before and I actually considered leaving it like that 😂 (minus the corner tv unit - that was always going!)

My favourite room in the house has always been the kids because there usually where I put all the effort in; but now I can say it’s my livingroom! Such a lovely space for us to all sit together 🫶🏻

I honestly couldn’t love these stripes any more! 😍 from start to finish it took me roughly 30 minutes from marking, to taping, painting and the satisfying part of pulling the tape off.

I can’t promise this will be the only place where stripes are added 🙊 I am already itching to do it again somewhere cause I love them so much 😂😂

This before and after is wild 😂 I honestly have no idea how we lived with that old livingroom for so long but just look at the transformation!

We added stunning wooden wall panels from which I am obsessed with 😍

And skirting board covers from which are actually genius! They look unreal and made such a huge difference.

Both very easy to do yourself and just change the room completely.

Every time I walk past the livingroom, I can’t believe it’s mine 😂 love!

Starting the weekend with the cutest shot of Max’s room 🐙 🫶🏻

The kids are all going for sleepovers tonight 🎉 so Kyle and I can go out for some dinner and drinks.. aand check out a show at the theatre where the audience gets steps into the shoes of a juror and participate in a murder trial - I cannot wait!! First though, I need to go out and find something to wear!! Have a good one whatever you’re upto 😘

A little corner of happiness in Max’s room 🦀 it’s been a pyjama day for him, he’s got a sickness bug and hasn’t been able to keep a meal down since Saturday 🥺 hoping tomorrow he’s feeling better 🤞🏼

Our living room was so dated and dull and we had just had enough, definitely time for a change! We gave the walls a lick of paint (how gorge is that colour?!), we changed the floors - (needed some herringbone in my life!) and moved in these beauties! I am obsessed!!

These gorgeous sofas with their modern design really are statement pieces that brings elegance and comfort to the living space. Just look at those beautiful arms! 😍
