Life of the Mile Magazine is the first Stockton publication dedicated to the merchants who advertise and creating value for the readers. Our hope is to create a sustainable voice for the merchants to better communicate the walkable community Stockton affectionately calls, The Mile. This magazine, like any startup, is funded partially by merchants and partially by the publishers. In our inaugural W
inter 2013 issue, the merchants funded 40% of total costs. Our hope is to have the merchants fund 100% of the costs either through their own efforts or outside advertisers. Our ultimate goal is to have a publication that makes a profit. Any profits made by the magazine will be turned over to the Miracle Mile Merchants Association to use at their discretion and at that point we will have succeeded.
