Just saw this REALLY WONDERFUL movie. I imagined Robert De Niro would have a small cameo role, but in fact, he’s one of the main characters. ALL the acting is so good and brilliant script. It’s a very complex storyline about a father (a standup comedian) and his autistic son, but it’s brilliant the way it unfolds and raises so many questions about how we relate to those on the autism spectrum and educate them.
Catch it at the new North Fork Cultural Arts Center in Greenport. The world premiere last night was a sellout at $100 a ticket. I saw it less than 24 hours later for $14 (senior discount) and had a perfect uninterrupted view center. GO SEE IT!!
