We just want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has and continues to listen to/ watch our show, Fresh Ice Hockey Podcast.
We started this back at the end of January on a whim because we were always having lengthy conversations about hockey over the phone (we live in separate states) and we figured, why not turn this into a podcast? Even if we only get 10 downloads per episode, it would still be fun to do, being that we are extremely passionate about the sport.
It what hasn’t even been 6 months, we’ve done 24 episodes, we’ve had 2 former NHL Players on the show as guests, a former junior and college player as a guest, an award winning CEO and hockey fanatic, we’ve picked up an amazing partnership with Xenopucks, followers in multiple countries, and while the views on YouTube are minimal (the algorithm is brutal), our live streams on social media do quite well and and our downloads on Spotify, Apple, etc. are FAR beyond what we could have ever imagined/hoped for.
We are nobodies in the grand scheme of things and without all of you, this show is nothing. So on behalf of both us, thank you for your loyalty, from the bottom of our hearts.

Nobody is stopping the Florida Panthers. They just beat the three best goalies in the league (besides Bobrovsky) in Vasi, Swayman, and Igor. This team won’t be stopped. Skinner has looked good for Edmonton and they are a fast team, but they don’t stand a chance.

TONIGHT on Fresh Ice Hockey Podcast, we will have retired NHL Defenseman Andrew Alberts on the show! Andrew played for the Carolina Hurricanes, Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins, and the Vancouver Canucks throughout his career. He also played in the Stanley Cup Final with the Canucks against the Boston Bruins in 2011.
In his retirement, Andrew is head of Player Development for NHL Sense arena, as well as an active member of the Warrior For Life Fund.
This will NOT be a live episode however it will be released immediately after recording. We hope you’ll tune in as it is sure to be a great episode.
