Thoughts on things...

I thought it would be cool to be able to listen to a podcast that felt like a drum lesson. Hear concepts and philosophies on rhythm, time, gigs, the business, gear, etc. Maybe even hear actual playing examples and exercises to think about and work on.

So, I made one. It’s called the DrumMantra Podcast, and it is based on the philosophies and concepts from my books (and my life).

I’ve written two books thusfar. The first is called The Foundational Series, the second is the Primary Series. These books are designed to develop timing, coordination, rhythmic awareness, phrasing, understanding of odd time signatures, knowledge of polymetric relationships, concentration, endurance, relaxation, and more.

You can learn more about the books HERE.
