What a VICTORIOUS fellowship! 🏆

LOOK | On Sunday, July 2, 2023, the VICTORY FELLOWSHIP and DISCIPLESHIP event held at our sanctuary, UFCC Bagong Silang, was successfully carried out by some youth leaders.

Some of the young people from our sister churches and mission points: UFCC Tala, Robes, Ph 9 and 10, and Camarin also shared their fun and exciting experiences at the Sports Fest (June 12). Everyone had a good time, and they all enjoyed the activities, singing and dancing, and even the final activity, which was the formation of new discipleship groups led by some of our discipleship leaders. Each young person had the opportunity to meet and talk with their group, as well as for the leaders to get to know their young disciples.

UPDATE | Four lovely couples will exchange vows at the UFCC Bagong Silang Sanctuary on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 3 PM.

Nothing can separate us from the love that the Lord unites, and from the love that God is at the center of. Our UFCC Bagong Silang brothers and sisters will demonstrate this through a holy wedding ceremony led by our local church and some secondary sponsors from selected young people.

May their love put Christ on display! 🕊️

Psalm 103:13: "As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him."

LOOK | Yesterday, June 18, 2023, UFCC Bagong Silang honors the sacrifice, perseverance, unwavering commitment and love of dads who are servants of the Lord on their special day.

Nothing compares to a parent's love for their child, as the saying goes. As we celebrate our Lord's Day once more, dads of different occupations, qualities, and families became one for a special recognition especially for them.

A small gesture of thanks were given to these men who built us, believed in us, been patient with us, and who have provided us with the affection and security we require to grow into strong and capable children of God!

Indeed, the power of a dad in a child's life is unmatched!

Pinagpalang gabi po sainyong lahat. Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa lahat po ng tumulong para po sa nagdaang Camp. Sa aming young adults na wala pong pag aalinlangan na tumulong financially, pagpalain po kayo ng Panginoon. Sa mga kabataan po na nag-pagal mangaroling, magbenta ng tickets para lang po may pandagdag sa camp fee natin. Sa ating mga pastors/pastoras na walang sawang sumuporta po sa amin. At sa lahat po ng Leaders na tumulong para sa aming caroling, practices at kung anu-ano pa, sobra-sobra po ang aming pasasalamat sainyo. Today, I blow my 51st candle. I’ve reached the second half of a century and hopes to burn some more birthday candles along the way until I reach a status of new citizenship - to be senior citizen! But who knows when our light will go out. Our fleeting life is in His hands. Whatever, life is not measured by it’s length but by it’s content.

The meaning of life is not just being able to exist as some existentialists put it. Life is so much more. Life beyond is even better. Life is analogous to eating. If the meaning of eating is simply in the swallowing of food, then it will be just be an excercise of our masseter muscle. If the meaning is in the savoring of food, then it’s just a mometary gratification to satiate the taste buds. But the meaning of eating is on what happens to the body after the ingestion. Similarly, if the meaning of life ends after one has been swallowed by the grave and nothing else, we are no better than animals. But life is more than that.

Christ did not die only to subject us to a futile existence in the now and then. He came to give us life…an abudant life. An abundance that is not measured by goods. I have been blessed with an abundantly loving family, abundantly prayerful and suppotive church, materially and otherwise. I have been blessed with abundant friends like you! Thank you!

Truly, I have been blessed to serve an abundantly gracious Savior. If an orchestra would choose an audience to hear it’s music, it would most likely seek the audience of kings. If my life is a symphony it will surely sound as an orchestra dedicates it to a king. I am grateful to You, my Savior and King for my 51st year in this side of eternity.
