Napster, the company that spearheaded .MP3 downloads, is now the highest paying streaming service with an average .009 per stream.

Spotify pays the least amount with an average of .003 cents per stream while Apple comes in second with an average of .006.

Yet, somehow musicians still remain focused on aggrandizing their artistry towards the least paying platform.
