This Cryptid/creature for today is the N-Dam-Keno-Wet. This creature comes from myths and legends about lakes and rivers. It is a "Merman" it prays on women and young girls but doesn't kill them. This creature is said to watch and bother women while they bathe. Sometimes it takes it a bit further by swimming up close under the water unseen to mo**st the bather. It is time for another foodie minute with Butters! Today it is Tacos Al Pastor! These are so yummy and always have a great flavor to them! When I am out, I always tend to flock to these as one of my favorites. Served with pico and a spicy sauce, they give you a chance to be in heaven. It is time for This day yesterday! Did you know one of the US presidents filed a report on a UFO sighting? It is true, in 1973 Jimmy Carter (before he was President) filed a report on September 18 stating he had seen a UFO (unidentified flying object) in October 1969. During his campaign he promised to get information on UFOs released to the public but back out of doing so when he became president. He stated that doing so would cause some defense issues. What do you think? Would you make a pledge about something that may have bigger fish behind it? Would you admit to seeing a UFO?

Time for another foodie minute by Butters! Today we have Mochi! There are different kinds of mochi which includes fruit, creams, bean paste, and ice cream. What ever the filling, these little snack bites are delicious. Mochi is made from cooked glutinous rice. Then it is pounded and smashed into a dough like consistency. Would love to try some these in different forms and fresh. Wonder if it changes the texture , flavor, and the bite of it? Have you tried some? What kind would you like to try?

Hope everyone had a great Labor day! here are some facts that you may not know about it! The idea of Labor day became public around 1882. It was approved to become a federal holiday in 1894. No white after labor day was just a thought of "if you still wore white you was celebrating summer still". Labor day is the unofficial end of Hot Dog season. That is a funny one. It is time for another foodie minute! Brought to you by Butters! Today is a odd one because it is a older recipe. It is Fudge but not just any fudge but Velveeta Fudge! It is suppose to be a creamy fudge made with a few things, such as, Velveeta, chocolate, and powdered sugar. I have not had some but would be willing to try new things. Its time for another foodie minute! This one comes from one of our listeners and it is... Frito Pie! This is a comfort classic for those who just need to chow down. Frito pie gets its name from the use of Fritos which then is layered with chili, cheese, other toppings. Of course, Frito pie is versatile and can use different ingredients and toppings.
