DPS PURSUIT TERMINATION OF POSSIBLE SMUGGLERS
El Paso. Texas - A DPS pursuit was reported this morning July 24, 2024, at approximately 9:15 AM. The pursuit initiated in the west side of El Paso and continued on I-10 eastbound through downtown. The suspect exited Trowbridge Dr and made a U-turn heading westbound on I-10. The driver then took the Piedras off-ramp and continued on Piedras St. The driver crashed into a fence at Piedras and Rivera Ave. 3-4 Suspects fled the scene on foot and were later arrested. Unconfirmed reports claimed this was a smuggling attempt. No other information is available at this time.
FIREFIGHTER BATTLE LARGE COMMERCIAL FIRE
El Paso, Texas - A condition 3 commercial fire was reported earlier this afternoon May 21, 2024, at the Cima Technologies company located at 1035 Eastside Road in the Lower Valley. According to EPFD dispatch, no injuries were reported. It's unknown what caused the fire at this time. The entire commercial building was destroyed with the roof partially collapsed. The EPFD is investigating the incident. No further details are known at this time.

El Paso, Texas - A rollover crash was reported this afternoon Thursday March 28, 2024 at 3:05 PM. Arriving units located a truck hauling a trailer that had rollover due to excess speed. The crash occurred on I-10 eastbound near the Copia St off-ramp. No injuries were reported. The crash caused a major back up on I-10 near downtown El Paso. According to a witness, some debris were scattered along the westbound lanes of I-10. No further details are known at this time.
DPS PURSUIT ENDS AFTER DRIVER CRASHES INTO A PARKED VEHICLE
El Paso, Texas - A pursuit was reported early this morning March 16, 2024, at approximately 10.25:am. The pursuit began near UTEP on Loop 375 eastbound and continued to Midway Dr. The suspects took the Midway off-ramp and continued to Alameda Dr. Near the intersection of Alameda and Mccarthy Ave the driver crashed into a parked vehicle at a car dealership. The juvenile suspects took off on foot after the crash. According to DPS, the suspects were not apprehended. No injuries were reported.
FATAL BAR SHOOTING IN EAST EL PASO
El Paso, Texas - A person is dead, and 2 others injured in an early morning shooting. The shooting occurred at the Rock City Bar and Grill located at 2285 Trawood Dr in east El Paso at 2:11 AM. No details are available at this time.
SMUGGLER PURSUIT ENDS IN HEAD-ON CRASH INTO CID AGENT
El Paso, Texas - A pursuit involving Texas State Troopers and UC agents ended in a head-on collision into a CID female agent this morning February 28, 2024. It's unclear exactly were the pursuit began at this time. The crash ended at the corner of Barrett Allen Ln and Lienege Rene CT after the suspect entered a residential area with no outlet and made a U-turn crashing head-on into the agent. The agent was not hurt in the crash. The ford driver was transporting a load of 4 migrants at the time of the crash and was arrested at the scene. The migrants were handed over to Border Patrol for processing. No other information is available I’m at this time.
JONAH HERNANDEZ FUNERAL PROCESSION
El Paso, Texas - Family and friends including different law enforcement agencies around the country gathered this afternoon to honor Las Cruces Police Officer Jonah Hernandez. The procession started at Martin Funeral Home located at 1460 George Dieter Dr in East El Paso. The procession then continued to Abundant Church for a ceremony honoring Hernandez. It finally ended at Mt Carmel Cemetery located at 401 S. Zaragoza Rd. Officer Jonah Hernandez,35, was fatally stabbed while responding to a trespass call on a male subject at Tip Top Trailer Sales In Las Cruces, New Mexico. When the officer arrived a the scene the suspect identified as 29-year-old ArmandoSilve immediately attacked the officer with a large kitchen knife. A witness who saw the unprovoked attack shot Silva. The suspect later died of his injuries. Hernandes was the first officer to be killed in the line of duty since LCPD was established in 1928. Hernandez graduated from the academy in 2022. Hernandez was a husband and father of two young sons.

ALLEGED DUI DRIVER FLIPS VEHICLE AFTER CRASHING INTO A ROCK WALL
El Paso, Texas - An alleged DUI driver flipped his car after losing control and crashing into a rock wall, tree, and parked truck early Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:39 AM. According to a witness at the scene, the suspect was driving southbound on Lee Trevino when for an unknown reason swerved left then right and tried correcting when it lost control and crossed onto the northbound lanes crashing into a low-level rock wall and a tree causing the vehicle to roll over. The vehicle ended upside down at the entrance of a condominium located at 11100 Vista Lago Place. The vehicle also damaged a parked truck. The driver was transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital. El Paso PD was not immediately available to respond to the scene.

El Paso, Texas - The Special Traffic Investigations unit continues to
investigate a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday morning. The preliminary Investigation revealed Lopez was traveling southbound at the 8500 block of Dyer. Lopez rear-ended a Nissan Maxima that was stopped at a red light at Dyer and Tetons. Younis’s vehicle was in the intersection and was hit due to the impact between the Ford Focus and the Nissan Maxima. Mr. Cryan, who was driving the Nissan, died at the scene. The driver of the Honda was uninjured, as was Lopez. Officers arrested Lopez for Intoxication Manslaughter. She was later booked into the El Paso County Detention
Facility. This is the 8th traffic fatality this year as compared to 12 last year.
INSANE VIDEO SHOWS DRAMATIC MOMENT DRIVER CRASHES INTO ACCIDENT SCENE
El Paso, Texas - Insane video caught the dramatic moments of a multi-vehicle crash on Loop 375 North near the Zaragoza off-ramp in far east El Paso early Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1:10 AM. Originally a three-vehicle crash was reported a few minutes earlier when a fourth additional vehicle crashed into the scene with multiple near misses by other drivers.. Both the passenger and driver in the Blue Toyota were seriously injured after the rear-end crash. El Paso Police, El Paso Fire Department along with EPCSO responded to the scene. One person was reported with injuries in the initial three-vehicle crash. The driver of a red Toyota SUV stated he tried avoiding crashing into the initial crash. He also stated he thought his vehicle was going to roll over and end up facing the wrong way. A female arrived at the scene and was looking for her mother who was in a small Silver 4-door sedan. The female in that car was moved to another vehicle for her safety. Three victims in total were transported to a local hospital. A total of 4 vehicles were involved in the crash. Two paramedics were luckily passing by the scene at the time of the crash and assisted the injured victims. It's unknown exactly what caused the initial crash. El Paso, Texas - A high-risk traffic stop was conducted late Tuesday night February 6, 2024 at approximately 11:48 PM after a 911 call came out of a man allegedly pointing a weapon at another driver. The incident occurred near the intersection of Pebble Hills Blvd and N. Zaragoza Road in far east El Paso. El Paso Police was seen looking for evidence at the corner of Pebble Hills and Zaragoza road. The suspect driving a Chevy Truck was taken into custody while police investigated. After nearly 30 minutes the suspect was released after no weapon was found. It's unclear if any charges are being file. No further details are available at this time as PIO's are never available to deny or confirm any of the information.
VICTIM SUFFERS SERIOUS INJURIES AFTER JUMPING OFF A FREEWAY OVERPASS
El Paso, Texas - A person is in critical condition this evening February 5, 2024, after jumping off a freeway overpass at the on-ramp to Loop 375 South near Zaragoza Road and Sun Fire Blvd. According to a witness at the scene, the victim stopped in the middle of the road on the on-ramp to Loop 375 and jumped off for an unknown reason. The victim's shoes were seen resting at the scene. A woman who also witnessed the incident was seen talking to police. The victim's current condition is unknown at this time. The area remains closed for further investigation. No other details are available at this time.
MIGRANTS CAUGHT ON CAMERA AFTER CROSSING US BORDER INTO EL PASO
El Paso, Texas - A group of 3 migrants were caught on camera after crossing the US border into El Paso. The three men had just jumped the border wall and were crossing Loop 375 eastbound into a neighborhood on the north side of the freeway. The three men later disappeared into the neighborhood near Fonseca Dr and the Ascarate Golf Course. The Border Patrol including DPS Troopers were nowhere in sight at the time. It's unknown if the migrants were apprehended. We drove around the area and did not spot any police or the three migrants. No further information is available.
TEXAS DPS HUMAN SMUGGLER PURSUIT ENDS WITH PIT MANEUVER
El Paso, Texas - A pursuit involving human smugglers ended on I-10 eastbound at exit 20 Dallas St Cotton St near downtown. The pursuit began on the west side of El Paso at an unknown location after the vehicle that was under surveillance was pulled over by marked units. The driver refused to stop and fled on I-10 eastbound for about 7 miles. Texas DPS troopers performed the pit maneuver ending the pursuit. The vehicle ended up facing the wrong way on I-10 after the pit. Four people were taken into custody by the troopers and were later handed over to Border Patrol for further processing. No injuries have been reported. No information on the driver is known at this time.

TEXAS STATE TROOPERS HUMAN TRAFFICKING PURSUIT ENDS IN CRASH
El Paso, Texas - A group of migrants is in custody this morning February 2, 2024, after leading Texas DPS Troopers on a high-speed chase at approximately 3:17 AM. The pursuit began at an unknown location after the driver in a blue Nissan Murano refused to stop for the troopers. The suspect took I-10 eastbound and then took the off-ramp to Gateway Blvd east. The driver continued to flee on Gateway making a right turn onto Hunter Dr. Then continued on Hunter for about a quarter mile and made a left turn on Phoenix Ave. The suspect then tried to make a quick left on Prescott Dr lost control and crashed into 3 parked cars. No injuries were reported.

LOAD OF MIGRANTS IN CUSTODY AFTER WILD PURSUIT
El Paso, Texas - A wild pursuit of human smugglers was reported late Thursday night February 1, 2024, at approximately 11:45 PM. The pursuit began in the downtown area of El Paso when for an unknown reason Texas DPS Troopers attempted to pull over a silver Dodge. The Driver refused to stop and fled eastbound on I-10. The driver continued on I-10 eastbound for about 12 miles to the Horizon Blvd off-ramp. The suspect then made a right turn onto Horizon Blvd and continued south for about 2 miles to the corner of Burt Road and Horizon Blvd. Troopers then performed the pit maneuver on the vehicle bringing the pursuit to an end. A load of nearly 7 migrants were in the vehicle at the time of the pursuit. All migrants were turned over to Border Patrol agents for processing. It's unclear who was the driver at this time. No injuries were reported.
