Creating a vision board is an annual priority for me! ( I might take it too seriously, but I'm ok with that😂) Vision boarding allows me to release the clutter from my mind and get it all out on paper.

Not only am I able to set my goals for the year, but I have the added bonus of including the visions and dreams that God has placed on my heart. Giving God the opportunity to take the wheel of my life , gives me clarity and focus as I go throughout the year.

One major key about creating an intentional vision board is God’s word! ➡️Habakkuk 2:2-3 sets the tone for intentional vision boarding. ✨

We don’t create vision boards without God’s insight around here ‼️

This year, I decided to do things a bit differently. I saw an exercise that created that encourages individuals to dig deep for the things they want to see this year and I was completely inspired!

So instead of creating a visual board, I followed this exercise. I prayed, took some time with God and sought him for the 365 things I want to see come into fruition in my life. Trust me this was tough, but it was worth it!

Steve mentions that when you start getting to point 75 and higher it gets a bit difficult but it pushes you to think beyond what you can see, and begins to open up your mind to the “exceedingly and abundantly” that God promises us!

So instead of scrolling through social media for hours, or watching 555,456 (😅) Netflix episodes in one sitting, I’ve challenged myself to revisit my 365 goals, dreams, and ambitions in this book…praying on them daily and asking God to align me with my greater purpose!

Its been a great exercise of faith and a reminder that God really can do the unimaginable! I’m looking forward to seeing what God allows me to check off this list this year.

For me vision boarding is a way for me to focus on my why. As we journey through the next few months, we can lose sight of why we do things; we may get discouraged by things not going the way we saw our year going.

Having a vision board for me helps me look and understand that everything I have placed on the board first goes before God and all I can do is leave the rest in his hands. Everything will not happen in the time frame I want it to but, it will happen in God perfect time. And that assurance gives me hope, perseverance and joy when I look at my board.
