my love,
it is so surreal to be celebrating three years married to you— mainly because I often forget there was a time before you, the boy I met at 18 in a backwards hat and tank top asking me out to lunch.
They say every girl deserves to feel like a princess on their wedding day and I absolutely agree, but to that I’d like to add that you’ve made me feel that way every day for the last 3,058 days, since that very first lunch date to the morning kiss you now gently plant on my forehead before getting out of bed and the evening tea cup you bring without me asking. You’re amazing and I never get tired of telling you. There’s no adjective you haven’t heard me use before at this point… but this year is a bit different.
All I can think about these days is - who could be a better fit to become a girl dad? Our sweet girl is so lucky, I had to find you but she just gets you right away- what a privilege. I know you’ll care for her just as well and together we will give her all the support, laughter, joy and warmth in the world (along with maybe some insanely unrealistic expectations for love).
Here’s to many more years of being madly in love, living in our own happy bubble - and to watching our wedding video alongside our little princess next year 🥰 Happy Anniversary 💍
