It was previously reported that Banky W had allegedly had an affair with Niyola, causing quite a buzz on social media. Earlier today, Niyola captivated many with her emotive singing, bringing tears to her eyes. The video went viral, with Niyola captioning it, "yours truly… always and forever abba." In response, many Nigerians, including her colleagues, offered words of encouragement and support. Adesua's comment stood out among the rest as she praised Niyola's voice and hailed her singing prowess. Niyola took the opportunity to thank Adesua for her concern.

According to a report by The Punch, Anambra candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme has admitted to a panel of independent investigators, set up by the Anambra state government, that she forged her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results. The report, made available to journalists in Abuja by the spokesperson of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Dr. Fabian Benjamin, states that Mmesoma did not provide any reason for her actions. During the investigation, Mmesoma confessed to the forgery in the presence of her principal and the education secretary. She admitted that the account given by JAMB officials accurately described the incident. Mmesoma also admitted to manipulating her own results using her phone's Artel number, and printing the manipulated results at a cybercafé called Prisca Global Computers in Uruagu, Nnewi. When asked about her motive, Mmesoma remained silent, leaving the panel unable to determine her reasons for forging the results. The principal of Anglican Girls' Secondary School in Uruagu, Nnewi, and the education secretary of the Diocese of Nnewi, Anglican Communion, expressed shock over Mmesoma's admission, as she had deceived the school, her family, and the state government. JAMB had previously accused Mmesoma of manually inflating her UTME result from 249 to 362. Despite the board's pleas, Mmesoma continued to insist that her result was genuine and claimed to have printed it from the JAMB website. In response, JAMB imposed a three-year ban on her, although the House of Representatives called for a stay of action.

President Tinubu has announced the retirement of all service chiefs, advisers, and the comptroller general of customs. In their place, he has appointed new officials with immediate effect. The newly appointed officers include Mallam Nuhu Ribadu as the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. C.G Musa as the Chief of Defence Staff, Maj. Gen. T. A Lagbaja as the Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral E.A Ogalla as the Chief of Naval Staff, and AVM H.B Abubakar as the Chief of Air Staff. Additionally, Dig Kayode Egbetokun has been appointed as the Acting Inspector-General of Police, and Maj. Gen. Epa Undiandeye as the Chief of Defense Intelligence. President Tinubu has also approved various other appointments within the military and the Presidential Villa, including commanding officers and special advisers.

Afeez Agoro Oladimiji, a popular reality TV star and actor, passed away recently. Known as the tallest man in Nigeria, he stood at an impressive height of 7 feet 4 inches. According to reports, Agoro was rushed to the hospital yesterday but unfortunately did not survive. The nation has confirmed that funeral arrangements for Agoro have begun at his residence on Community Road, Akoka.
Agoro's last Facebook post was on May 28, where he expressed gratitude for a successful hip replacement surgery and mentioned his upcoming therapy sessions. He had undergone the recovery process under the care of Dr. D**e, his personal doctor.
Due to his towering height, Agoro often attracted stares wherever he went. His passing has deeply saddened the residents of Akoka/Bariga community, who have started sending in their tributes. Segun Adesanya, the Chairman of Akoka Community Development Association (CDA), confirmed the news and expressed sorrow over the loss, describing Agoro as a promising young man whose soul should rest in peace.

This action was taken in connection with the ongoing investigation of Mr. Emefiele's office and the upcoming reforms in the financial sector. As a result, Mr. Emefiele has been directed to hand over his duties to the Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate) until the investigation is concluded and the reforms are implemented. The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi said he has never violated any law about his alleged detention by the UK Immigration Service.
The Labour Party presidential candidate stated this in a statement via his verified Twitter handle.
Obi’s comment comes following his reported detention at London’s Heathrow Airport by UK immigration in early April.
The former governor of Anambra said he has lived all his life in the most law-abiding manner, and he will “never knowingly break any law.”
Recall that the Labour Party, had in a statement last Wednesday, said Obi was detained and questioned for a duplication offense, which suggested that someone has been impersonating him in London.
According to the party, Obi was questioned for a long time but was eventually saved by the spontaneous reaction of Nigerians at Heathrow Airport.
Both the UK immigration and Obi have kept mum on the matter since it was reported.
But, Obi said, even though humans are bound to make mistakes, he will never knowingly break any law.
He added that he is not afraid of the lies and propaganda against his person because it is part of the journey to a New Nigeria.

A butcher has reportedly stabbed his wife to death in Warri, Delta State.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 13th,2023.
According to Daily Post, the matter is before the Police and the suspect is cooling his heels in a police cell.
It was learnt that the suspect tried to scoop hot water from the fire to bathe when he returned from the market where he butchers and sells meat, however, his wife refused and asked him not to touch the gas claiming he does not give them money for upkeep or to fill the gas at home.
The suspect reportedly ignored his wife and went straight to the gas to scoop the hot water. His wife attacked him and a fight broke out between the couple.
In the ensuing scuffle, the deceased wife rushed a knife with the intention to stab her hubby who in turn overpowered her, collected the knife and used same to stab her severally until she collapsed.
At that point, the suspect rushed his wife to a private hospital for treatment where he lied that she was involved in a ghastly accident.
Pained by the development, his daughter rushed to the Police Station and reported the matter and the suspect was immediately arrested.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent in Warri.
He said, “Confirmed” without providing much details.
