March 27, 1981

43 years ago today Ozzy Osbourne finally released the Blizzard Of Ozz album in the United States. The record had been released in the United Kingdom six months prior. It would enter the US Billboard charts at number 140 during the week of April 18. Ultimately, the album would sell over six million copies and is now considered an all time classic which includes the songs “Crazy Train”, “Mr. Crowley”, “Suicide Solution”, “I Don’t Know” and more!

45 years ago today Van Halen released their second album which they called “Van Halen II”.

The album contains the classics “Dance The Night Away”, “Somebody Get Me A Doctor”, and “Beautiful Girls”. Album cuts “Light Up The Sky” and “D.O.A.” are great as well. The album peaked at number six on the Billboard charts and has sold over six million copies.

However we were born 10 years (a decade) apart and Brad being born in the United States, Jon in England (an ocean apart).
