Find out why he was scattering flowers on a very important anniversary of the deaths of two former Royal Navy colleagues on BBC Essex with Steve this afternoon. Thanks to the Waverley team for making it so special and for sounding her horn as part of it too.
Crowning the winners of Colchester’s first Soapbox Rally. Well done to the 40+ teams for taking part and being such fun. Loads of footage (including the crashes!) on BBC Essex social media and you can rewatch the live streams on the InColchester page
