One of the many mind-blowing moments of my career at Guitar Player Magazine was when one of MY guitar heroes — Bill Nelson — asked to interview one of HIS guitar heroes, Duane Eddy. The result was a stunning, intimate, and informative discussion between two transcendent talents. Much appreciation to Duane for all he did to inspire other guitarists. He was a quiet giant of instrumental guitar music and a truly wonderful wonderful human. RIP Duane Eddy (1938-2024).
