Police have summoned the owner of Freedom City, John Sebalamu, for questioning into allegations of negligence after the death toll of a New Year’s concert stampede at the entertainment center rose to 10.

Police are investigating access and exit controls, safety measures against crowd controls, evacuation plans, paramedics and ambulances on site, and the number of people at the concert among others.

American-Ugandan actor and playwright, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine says losing his last surviving parent - his mom – does not mean his connection with Uganda is broken.
