Few Days After Peace Talks With Uzodimma, Ebubeagu, Soldiers Invades Orsu Communities, Killed 6 Youths

The operatives of the Ebubeagu Security Network and the Nigerian Military have once again invaded Communities in Orsu Local Government Area Of Imo State, killing six Young men.

The invasion took place in different occasion and locations four days after declaration of returning of peace in Orsu Local Government Area.

The Leaders and Youths of the Communities had in September approached Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State to seek end to the indiscriminate killing of innocent young men in the communities.

A native of the area who anonymously spoke to Orsu24news, confirmed that at least six young men have been killed by combined team of Ebubeagu and officers of the Nigerian Military.

According to him, ''the operatives first invaded Ohukoabia Awo-Idemili Community four days after peace declaration, killing three block molders from neighboring Community, Orsuihiteukwa .

''Again yesterday Wednesday, the operatives invaded other parts of the community, killing a Palm tapper in Amaokwo, two others respectively in Ohukobia and Isieke .

''The recent invasion in the communities has increased tension in the community, he said.

Recall that the Ebubeagu and operatives of the Nigeria Military has been in the business of killing young men in the communities and other parts of Imo State, tagging them gunmen.

My Political Opponents Using My Name To Attack Peter Obi - Ihedioha
A former governor of Imo state, Emeka Ihedioha has cried out that nhis political opponents in Imo state are using his name to attack the person of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi
Ihedioha, who raised that alarm in a statement he issued Tuesday, refuted a claim that he called the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, a crafty man who cannot win the 2023 presidential election.
According to the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the report did not emanate from him, even added that it is the handiwork of purveyors who are trying to dent his image.
Ihedioha stated in a press release ‘RE – 2023: Igbos Should Wait Till 2031, Peter Obi is Crafty: Fake News: Please Disregard’ which was signed by his media aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu on Tuesday, that he did not grant any interview in Abuja or elsewhere to verbally attack Obi.
The statement read: “Our attention has been drawn to fake news, with the above caption, circulated on some social media platforms.
“This is one of the many orchestrated efforts by political opponents of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON and their collaborators who are afraid of squaring up against him in the coming elections.
“It is noteworthy that, His Excellency did not grant any interview in Abuja or elsewhere as claimed.
“His Excellency is known to acquit himself in the most civil, decent and respectful manner and therefore could not have employed such uncouth words.
“We are aware that the purveyors of these unfounded reports are unrelenting in their desperation to impugn His Excellency’s integrity and reputation.
“The public, therefore, is alerted and indeed advised to kindly ignore and disregard the fake news.”

IMO OWNED RADIO STATION ORIENT FM, MISTAKENLY PLAYED MUSIC CALLING HOPE UZODIMMA, "UDELE NA ERI OZU"

There is now palpable tension in the State owned Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), Owerri following an alleged costly mistake last Wednesday (3/8/2022) by the Studio hands who were on morning shift.

Findings reveal that on that fateful day after the Igbo morning news the technical officer on duty was to sort out adverts to play and in a bid to avoid dead air, he opened the music file, saw a bongo music in the system and mistakenly punched a tract and continued what he was doing.

Unfortunately and unknowingly too, the music that came up was a derogatory tract on Governor Hope Uzodinna in which he was allegedly tagged a “blood sucker.”

No sooner had the music gone on air than the studio was inundated with calls thereby drawing the attention of the Studio Staff and Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief Declan Emelumba.

The Acting DG, Sir Richard Nkwopara and the Technical Officer, Apostle Casmir Uzoma, were quickly summoned to the Ministry where they were interrogated for a long time.

At the end of the interrogation, it was learnt that the Commissioner Emelumba accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Barr Mrs Obiageli Amadiobi and others stormed the IBC with a view to knowing how the piece of music found its way into the studio but that was a herculean task.

Further investigation reveals that both Sir Richard (Acting DG) and Mr Uzoma(TO) have been issued administrative queries.

However, it was learnt that the little period the Station went off that fateful day was not as a result of the music played but because of a faulty Gen set just as the Station came back on air same evening.

The fate of the remorseful Acting DG, that of the Technical Officer Apostle Anyanwu, whom IBC Staff have described as hardworking and diligent and others, who may be linked to the costly mistake are currently hanging on the scale.
