At the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum for the Italian Heritage Month!!
L’idea Magazine was created in 1974. It has grown from an association newspaper to a cultural periodical for the Italians in the United States. With these changes also came the growth of the number of pages, the variety of the articles and authors, the appearance of color, and the awards. L’Idea sponsored many events tied to their cultural and social activities, such as Miss Puglia USA, Miss Idea, Premio Puglia, and Premio L’Idea per il giornalismo (L'Idea Award for Journalism), many plays, and one opera.
Tiziano Thomas Dossena joined the magazine staff in 1990 and became the Editorial Director in 1992, holding that position until now. At the Anniversary Celebration, he will cover the magazine's evolution through the years, the personalities interviewed, and the magazine's aim for the future. He will also answer questions regarding the magazine.

The exhibit is a tribute to the Italian artist Emilio Giuseppe Dossena.
He brought his art to Brooklyn, achieving remarkable success in the ‘70s. During exhibit hours, local author Tiziano Thomas Dossena will be on hand to discuss and answer questions regarding the exhibit.

L’idea Magazine was born in 1974. L’Idea sponsored many events tied to their cultural and social activities, such as Miss Puglia USA, Miss Idea, Premio Puglia, and Premio L’Idea per il giornalismo (L'Idea Award for Journalism), many plays, and one opera.
Tiziano Thomas Dossena joined the magazine staff in 1988 and became the Editorial Director in 1990. He will cover the magazine's evolution through the years, the personalities interviewed, and the magazine's aim for the years to come. A Q&A session will follow.
