Honest question for all of you. Those of you that know me know I created supervillain characters to theme this whole thing we're doing around. I love Super Villains and think they aren't given enough credit in stories ect...

But I want to start creating Reels again and short form content, not really about games but more for Mental Health Advocacy. The Streams have really just become a place where we can all get together, hang and talk. I am not looking to push much gaming content but I want to center the content that I do push to be uplifting, empowering, funny ect...

What would you guys say to a return of the Almighty/Wrath Dad Joke skits and other short form content focused around Mental Health Advocacy? Genuine curious inquiry from me.

So Ubi Soft, ya know the Studio who both said Skull and Bones is a AAAA game and we should all get use to not owning the games we pay for.

Oh man....have these guys absolutely learned NOTHING From BG3, Helldivers, Palworld... learned nothing!

As much as I am looking forward to this game, now I hope it fails. Just so we can watch Ubisoft go WTF!!! This is just greed at this point.

Depression sucks. No question about it, it sucks. One day you're happy go lucky and feel great, the next it's like some school yard bully forced his way into your house and just took what he wanted and there was nothing you could do about it.

What I do want to do about it though is let each and everyone of you know, whether you battle a medical condition that causes depression or you're just going through something. You're not fighting alone and it won't always BE like this. "There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it may just be you."

I have battled depression since my teenage years, talking early teens too. I have whats called, Cyclothymia. I can fight depression at it's source, chemicals. I can take meds, I can eat foods that boost seratonin, dopamine ect... I can exercise, I can get sunlight ect... ect.... I can do all this ONLY to minimize it's effects but for me, I will ALWAYS battle depression for the rest of my life and it comes in random spurts it doesn't have to be triggered.

I will live like this the rest of my life. But I made a decision a long time ago. Though it can feel like I am getting beat down by it at times when it decides to be a bit more dramatic and difficult than the last time. I made the decision to never let myself be DEFINED by it! I can be down and out and at those times the words of others may feel like they hit harder or hit at all. But I've fought this battle for a long time and I WON'T allow myself to be defined by it. So I choose to always stand back up whenever I get knocked down, shake the dust off and tell everyone and the world to give me their best shot cause I will always keep standing back up.

None of you out there fight these battles alone. I started streaming to get that message out there, to put a dent in this world, reach someone who feels like they have no one and it's hopeless, to help be that hope and push them in the needed direction and I intend to keep doing it. Love all ya'll! No matter what it is, YOU-GOT-THIS!

Shout out to every one of you who gets up every day with absolutely no Motivation to do a damn thing but you still push forward.

Ya'll lived with or live with depression. You understand how misunderstood you are, you get called lazy or perceived as lazy.
You're aware of it all and thats both a good and bad thing. Being aware of it allows you to know when you're going into a low but it's knowing that that compounds and pushes the depression even harder. You're witty, you're funny and you're amazing with advice. But every bit of it comes from a true and very dark place.

But you all still get up everyday and keep going. I want you to know I see you and I feel you. It's my everyday, and I want you to know you're not alone.

Helldivers 2 is pushing its 2 month mark pretty quickly here.

I have nothing left to grind. Samples are capped, requisition capped, exp capped, medals capped. I have no grind left in the game...but it's still just so much fun to dive in with friends and have a hilarious time.

Not many games can pull this off and I don't see the game becoming boring anytime soon with how they're teasing and adding things into it.

Need more single player survival games that are well...good lol.

Taking an extended break from competitive stuff unless something swings by and captures my attention. What games would you all suggest?

What do all the helldivers here think of the Balance Patch.

The most common thing I see people saying is they should never NERF in a PvE game. This couldn't be more wrong though. Bringing other weapons up to the level of "The Best" guns is not the answer especially for a game that works like Helldivers does.

Their focus, and I agree with it, is to make it so you're bringing in loadouts from a tactical stand point and a fun stand point. Not just a stale META that requires you to run those weapons or you won't be able to succeed in the harder difficulties. They HAD to nerf the weapons they did. I also agree with the Devs when they say that the weapon nerf DOES SUCK! But I also agree with the Nerf.

Overall the game is harder now and new builds are beginning to shine with more of a variety to work with and the nerf didn't make those weapons unviable you just have to use them differently now.

Pe***ng a charger 4 times in the face with the rail gun was getting boring. Hitting a Bile titan with an orbital rail cannon strike then hitting him a few times in the face with the rail gun was getting boring. You were practically invincible.

That Panic you felt while you were leveling up and figuring out the game is back and THAT was the fun part of the game. The Choas, panic and strategy/teamwork it took to beat the level you were on. This Balance patch IMO is everything the game needed right now at this point. I am having fun with Helldivers 2 all over again!

Pulled the trigger on a Quest 3. It's better built for streaming and I can't wait to get some VR streams going. Think about the potential for horror games and scare Streams?

You all have any suggestions to some cool VR games that would make for a fun stream?

What games are you currently having the most fun with?

Me: Helldivers 2 tops the list. Been really enjoying Nightingale for my survival kick but getting back into enshrouded. Been having more fun getting away from competitive games. For me I've always been competitive but I've noticed a huge trend of just straight out egoism and toxic competitiveness that it sucks the fun out of those games. My own attitude changes too and I dislike it very much.

I haven't touched Apex since the morning of Season 20s release.

Honestly I've been way happier not playing it. I've seriously been enjoying survival games and helldivers 2. It's been an absolute blast and I love how many of you are jumping into helldivers as well.

It's been a change of pace by not playing Apex and I almost hate to say it. My mental health has improved. I will likely get back into Apex soon but the break from it has been so refreshing. Feel like a gamer again instead of just worrying about what game will bring in views. It's been great getting back in touch with my roots again.

Appreciate all of you for always coming along for the ride no matter what I do!

Helldivers 2 continues to maintain high player counts and concurrent players.

With the server cap raised again from 700k to 800k they even said expect short queue times. These player counts only reflect PC players on steam. There are hundreds of thousands of PS5 players too.

This is what happens when you make a fun game, charge $40 for it and communicate with your community.

It's also such a refreshing break from all the competitive shooters and is just straight up fun with friends!

Now they just need to put it on Xbox! We need those reinforcements against the bots!

Always take chances.
Always take risks.

If you Always play it safe and stay in your comfort zone you will never grow, you will never create experiences and you will never create or come across opportunities.

If I hadn't taken a huge risk and left my comfort zone I wouldn't have met some of the greatest, kind, loving, caring people. I would still be working a job that I absolutely hate and my mental health would be in such a terrible place.

But I took a risk, a chance. Sure it's caused some pain. But without pain there is no progress.

I've been ghosted.
Stood up.
Attacked.
Ridiculed.

Through it all I've stood in front of it taking the hits head on and I've become a better person because of it all. Pain is growth, progress and an amazing teacher.

2024 is turning out to be an amazing year for gaming!

So far we've gotten Palworld, skull and bones, enshrouded, helldivers 2, Nightingale, incoming Elden Ring DLC and so many more titles yet to hit like spacemarine 2 in September.

What a year so far and it's only just begun.

What games are you looking forward to the most and what game is tickling your fancy right now?

What's your guys thoughts on this.

Palworld, Helldivers 2 and Enshrouded are outselling AAA titles. They're $30-$40 games, Enshrouded and Helldivers are really polished and quality games. Palworld is EA and needs some work but is a lot of fun!

Do you all think $70 price tags are justified for big titles? It's almost as if these big $70 AAA titles and their giant budgets could make more money if they just sold their games cheaper.

It's simple economics. More affordable pricing, quality game, fun game = more sales. Do you guys think we're all finally seeing a shift in the gaming industry? Is a $70 price tag just greed?

After 2 weeks and pretty much 1 day the marathon stream comes to an end.

68 hours the first week Mon-sat
59 hours the second week Mon-Fri
7ish hours today! Monday

About 134 hours streamed through the course of 2 weeks and today! We hit our Dono goal of 2k!

TLDR Version: If you're looking for and/or need some inspiration and motivation, give the video a watch. It's no secret, I've been open about how this industry can make you feel sometimes, but it's also not just this industry. Everywhere you go there are those out there that want you to fail and make it their mission to get in your way and disrupt what you're trying to do.
