It’s my birthday. My daughter took this photo of me and I remember feeling very present. Getting older isn’t all good, but, it’s not all bad either. I like the lines in my face, I like the gravel in my voice, and I like being okay with okay. I feel young and old at the same time. This year will be dedicated to focusing on my strength, being gentle with myself and continuing to make light of the things that feel scary and dark. And as I crawl into bed at 9:20pm, I feel grateful in a thousand directions. I feel like I am just at the beginning of my best era. This is 50.

I am so proud of this kid. Finn played “Warner” in his school’s production of Legally Blonde. Can you tell I’m mildly excited? He had to sing a solo (which he crushed) but more importantly he had to “show up” for his cast mates which he did night after night. Not to mention on a closing night of his show, he had to play 3 soccer games. I’m really grateful for moments like this because middle school can be hard, like really hard, but this was a very bright and shiny moment that I will treasure. Bravo Finn. I love you.

WE DID IT! Tour #4 in the books! We ended in Chandler, AZ at the Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino, one of our favorite places to visit!! The ladies were a blast, and may we say MANY fine gentlemen in attendance as well! We promptly arrived home to colds and carpool, but couldn’t feel any more grateful! We get to do what we LOVE and then come home to our families that we LOVE to the moon and back X a million. Until 2025, ladies! Muah!!!
