A "Square D" Special on the FRC's rule enhancements

The backpass rule to the keeper simply has to pass congress. It's at the core of all of Gaelic football's problems

But passing it in conjunction with either the "two point shooting arc" or the "3/3 up" rule just can't work

It will create a new sport for the 2025 National League, will be a disaster, and will leave the FRC with no good template to review post league

If the "amended" rules post league don't work, Congress the following year will have a choice between keeping bad new rules or making no rule changes for another four years

Congress needs to vote "NO" to the "3/3 up" and the "two pointer" to save our game
