The Bronc Stomper

As the news broke about the wildfires raging across the panhandle, the place I was born and raised, I knew we had to do something to help. Amarillo is my hometown. These are my people. I’m so excited to join forces with my fellow panhandle boys, Aaron Watson and Randall King to do what we can to help support all the families affected by these fires and the heroes out there on the front lines.

Join us Sunday, March 24th in Amarillo, TX at the Starlight Ranch Event Center as we raise money to help the great people of the Texas Panhandle!

If you can't join us but would like to help you can donate to a local organization we have teamed up with. They are doing amazing work for the people who have been affected, and also supporting the fire-fighting efforts. Amarillo Area Foundation

You know they say London bridge has fallen down and moved to AZ, it reminds me every time I pass the Grand Canyon, about the time the Ole bronc stomper crossed the pond for a big Ole rodeo and western festival in honor of the queens something er other. Any how he drew a bad one, that bronc bucked so high and hard he broke the top rail of the arena and bucked up the thru the stand. Right past the royal family's box, all the while the Ole bronc stomper was just a fanning him and hollering God save the queen and God bless TX!!!! Ain't never seen nothing like it!

It's hard not to get your kicks on route 66 if you're a cowboy you can run the mother road end to end and scratch your itch for a bronc stomping all along the way. If your lucky or maybe if it's when you drink that pe**te tea you might even catch sight of jackalope or chupicabara in the land of entrapment I mean enchantment. That entrapment that's a whole other story we'll save for a more appropriate time an audience....

The Ol' Legends been retired for yrs now, but the young guns they still seek him out to sit at the feet of the master and hear his stories and hope that a little, just a little of his greatness wears off on them. Nobody really remembers when it all started, when from out the sage and Canadian river country rode a cowboy, a sure enough bronc stomper. From the 1st time he threw his wood across the back of an outlaw stud and spurred the hair plumb off him everyone knew he was bound for glory. It's been many a moon since that 1st fateful day when the world laid eyes on the bronc stomper. He's a man, he's a myth,

He hails from the center of God's universe, the TX panhandle where cowboys are born not made. He was born with a rope in his hand, weaned on mares milk and cut his teeth on a saddle horn. He's a lover, he's a fighter, he's a wild bronc rider! He's spurred em down from Calgary to san antone, Madison Square garden to the cow palace and he's headed to sin city for the big show, NFR or bust......
