The new BMW S 1000 RR has arrived. Key highlights:

• Increased output and torque: 154 kW (210 hp) at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm.

• Shorter secondary gear ratio for more traction at the rear wheel.

• Advanced "Flex Frame" with more flex.

• Chassis geometry with new values for steering head angle, offset, caster and wheelbase.

The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang. Is it me or is it not Charger up front and Camaro in the rear? 🤔 🧐

The 5.0 liter V8 is said to make 480 horsepower.

There’s also a new performance model. The Dark Horse. The engine will be a Coyote V8 with a target of 500 horsepower and a manual transmission.

Welp. The unthinkable has finally come true. Ferrari has unveiled their first ever SUV. The 2023 Purosangue.
The Purosangue has a standard 6.5 liter V-12 engine, which is naturally aspirated and produces 715 horsepower and 528 lb-ft of torque. It has awd, seating for four and electric doors.

Ferrari is adamant this isn’t an SUV but instead a sports car. If their figures of 3.3 seconds to 62 mph, 10.6 seconds to 124 mph, and a top speed of 192 mph are accurate, it certainly has supercar speed. But it’s still a far cry from the days of the 360 Modena and 575 Maranello.

First time seeing a MK8 R in person up close. Hmmm.
I really like the way it looks. Although at night, the LED light strip looks terrible. Always been a fan of the Lapiz Blue. Overall it’s a great looking car.

The Tiger Sport 660 is designed with adventuring and touring in mind but the platform shared with the Trident 660 also has sporting characteristics. All-around it’s hard to fault the Tiger 660 when compared to the competition.

Words can’t express how excited we are for the GR Corolla! BUT there’s one major area where things can go south. PRICING! If Toyota can keep the GR Corolla around $35,000 it will be their greatest performance product in the US market in decades. However, if we see prices topping $40,000, it will be too expensive (although arguably worth it) to appeal to a lot of potential buyers.

STATS: There’s a 3 cylinder engine with 300 horsepower. A “true” AWD system that allows for torque bias up front, in the rear, or split 50:50 aided by available L*D at both axles. A 6-speed manual is the only transmission. And cool features such as an available carbon fiber roof and the triple exhaust really put the GR Corolla in a class of its own when it comes to exciting AWD Hot Hatchbacks. The Golf R is it’s only real direct competition in the US market. The Civic TypeR is FWD, the WRX isn’t a hatch among other things, and the Mazda3 isn’t performance focused.

When compared to Golf R, the AWD System is enough to set the Corolla apart for those of us who grew up admiring rally car racing.

We’ll see how pricing goes. don’t let us down!

This is the Mercedes Vision EQXX. While the styling is… well, you judge for yourself, the tech is legit! This car is 50% more efficient than a Tesla Model S, with the same battery capacity. It’s capable of 1000km (620miles) of range on a full charge and the 100 kWh battery pack is small enough to fit in a compact car. The battery powers a single 200hp motor.

Batteries are notoriously heavy but the Vision EQXX is relatively light. At 3858 lbs it’s lighter than a BMW M3 Competition. Mercedes leaned heavily on Formula 1 and Formula E technologies to make this car a reality. Going from concept to production in just 18 months.

Oh yeah, and there’s a 47.5-inch 8K display stretched across the dash. Why the hell not?

Finally saw a MK8 Golf GTI in person. Definitely looks better in person but still underwhelmed. This one was an SE trim with the 6-speed manual and the new leather seats look awesome. Also surprised there was only a $3,000 dealership markup. There have been some dealerships with $20,000 markups
Still, $42,000 for a Golf GTI… 😱
