𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗻: 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝟭𝟳𝟵 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀! 🇯🇵

My family and I were featured in Hokkaido Shimbun, one of Japan’s top regional newspapers, for visiting all 179 municipalities in Hokkaido! 🚗 It’s been an unforgettable journey, and we’re so grateful to have our adventure recognized in such a meaningful way. ❤️

But what’s not mentioned in the news is that we also visited all of Hokkaido’s Roadside Stations, explored all the major shrines in each town, and even tracked down and took photos with all 42 of the Pokémon manhole covers scattered across the island. 🇯🇵

Dubbed as the “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝘀” and the“𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗼”, Daisetsuzan National Park is Japan’s largest national park. 🎌

At the heart of the park stands Mt. Asahidake, Hokkaido’s highest peak. 🏔️

Did you know that the submerged railway in Spirited Away has a real-life counterpart? 🛤️

In Lake Shikaribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan, you can see the remains of an old railway track that is visible during the winter months when the lake freezes. It’s a hauntingly beautiful sight, much like the submerged tracks in the film, where Chihiro and her companions take a mysterious train ride across a water-covered landscape.
