A leather-bound codex was found in Szentendre Island in the mid 70s. It contains mysterious inscript Within the casket is a thick leather-bound book.
It is the year 1242 AD and the Mongols have just sacked Visegrad Vár, just as they have done with other fortifications up the Danube, on their way to Vienna. Fearing for their lives, and for the legacy of their research, local monks bury an iron casket in a rocky burrow deep under the willows on the western tip of Szentendre Island, right across from the castle. Today we know it as the The Kisoroszi Codex. These are it’s contents.
