Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
The Nightlife Businessman
When you're not sure what to do after a long workweek, we are here to remind you what the "hottest," "sexiest" and "most talked about," events are happening in the DMV West of the Beltway in the Metro Area. We will randomly text you to let you know that you're on the guest list for the party tonight. We always have a spot for you at our table. And most importantly, we are your best chance to get past the velvet rope.
Becoming a club promoter isn't a stereotypical career path, but there are examples of those who play their cards right and treat their craft like a business — not just a way to get comp bottles and a little something on the side while working on TPS reports during the week. Case in point: DMV & 7 Cites Own The Johnson Marketing Group.
The Johnson Marketing Group is familiar with the Strategic Groups and other Marketing Groups of the D.C. Metropolitan and Tidewater Areas, but what many in nightlife don't know is that it's not easy to transition from a street promoter to a bona-fide nightlife businessman. Jeffrey Johnson, founder and CEO of The Johnson Marketing Group, started his career in nightlife promoting college parties at University of Virginia, and James Madison University; as soon as he saw that opportunities were much greater in the DMV & The Seven Cities of the Tidewater Area, he created The Johnson Marketing Group in 2015.
The Johnson Marketing Group is a nightlife marketing group that caters to the more premium half of the neo-R&B, Soul, Jazz, and; 90’s Hip Hop market, we plan and execute our weekly upscale events from start to finish, from operations and promotional material to strategic collaborations. The event is meant to target a 30 to 55 years old age range, niche market known in the Urban culture as the “Grown and S*xy.” These are individuals who work all week long and would like to go out come week’s end; and put some clothes on an attend a venue (e.g., club, cabaret, etc..) and decompress and enjoy some good entertainment but more importantly a good chilled vibe environment, in the following areas of the DMV; (Culpepper, Bealeton, Warrenton, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas, Manassas Park, Reston, Herndon, Chantilly, Centreville, Fairfax, ) within the Interstate 66, Routes 28 corridors; and (Springfield, Woodbridge, Dumfries, Dale City) within the Interstate 95 corridor.
