April was unforgettable - falling even more in love with this beautiful city and getting to explore a whole new side of Sevilla. I can’t thank enough for all of the amazing experiences and delicious food we got to try together as we celebrated my birthday a little bit (very) early. 🤫 There was a sense of magic in the air with the feria de abril right around the corner… ✨💃 And I took way too many photos, so stay tuned for more Spain spam coming soon!

March madness 🤪💒🌱 it’s been a whirlwind adventure this month- getting more consistent with my workout routine, going on fun dates with the hubby, bonding with colleagues at work parties, and enjoying some time back home with my family + celebrating my best friend’s wedding! 💗 Excited to return home and hop right into the glorious German spring ☀️🐇

february feeling… 💘✨💐 so thankful for the flowers, long hugs, and deep conversations with family & friends this month. Spring is right around the corner and I’m so ready for the seasons to change. 🌱 Here’s to more creativity, silliness, & making hobbies fun again (instead of just focusing on output). If you’re a perfectionist like me, you know sometimes it’s tough to accept when something turns out to be a mess instead of a masterpiece. But I’m slowly learning to appreciate the flaws and be more patient with myself. ❤️‍🩹

it’s been a heck of year, folks… ⛄️ honestly, I didn’t post as much on here this year because I didn’t quite feel like myself. As I looked back at all the photos that I saved in my favorites but never posted, I started to understand why. 👇 (TW: body dysmorphia)
At the beginning of the year, I slowly stopped recognizing myself in photos. Most days, I felt the need to hide myself and never post if I didn’t think I looked “good enough”- or even pose a certain way to conceal what I thought were flaws. From my skin to my arms to smiling less because I thought it made my cheeks look “too big”… I simply kept most photos to myself to avoid judging myself or feeling judged by others.
I know I’m a ✨fitness girly✨ and I post gym selfies to my stories all the time, but in my head these were the only “acceptable” photos to post. At the gym, I was doing something to work on my body and so those were the photos that I “should” share. But the truth is, I feel much happier looking at me “just being me” in this photo instead of the ones where I am holding back/punishing myself for not looking a certain way.
So if you’ve read this far, thanks 🥲 I just wanted to use this as a reminder for myself and for everyone else to hopefully feel encouraged to post “that” photo. Do not let body image, age, or society’s expectations get in the way. Sending you all so much love & good vibes in the new year, and I can’t wait to share even more with you. 💜

Honestly, one of the biggest reasons we booked this venue was because of this staircase… 🤭 I was absolutely obsessed when I saw the Spanish tiles and all of the beautiful wedding photos that other people had posted here. We were truly blessed to be able to book our dream wedding venue 🤍

Just married!!! 🤩 💒 👰🏽‍♀️ This past weekend, Florian and I officially decided to spend the rest of our lives together. While this day was very much about us, I have to say that I was overwhelmed with the amount of love, kindness, and generosity that our family & friends have shown us ever since we met 6 years ago. I can’t find the words to express my immense gratitude for the well-wishes, financial support, and encouragement they’ve provided. Without it, we probably would have had a much harder time making a long-distance relationship last and finding our way here in Germany together. Thank you all so much for being there & celebrating with us! 🥰 We can’t wait to write this next chapter of our lives together.
