SHOOT DAY VLOG | Seeing a brand come to life which I designed the logo for has been UNREAL 🥰! I designed the logo for this new children’s toy/shoe a few months ago and the two ladies I’ve had the pleasure of working with have been an absolute dream. Once the logo was finalised, samples were sorted + I was able to get to work on the pre-production elements of this shoot. As it is for an advertisement it didn’t rely on a narrative so much but rather exciting visuals + of course, we’re adding animation. Think Lelly Kelly… but 2024. Inclusive, fun and creative. I had my lovely friend @melissa_smethurst along with me for the ride. The production couldn’t have happened without your support + I can’t wait to see what your editing genius comes up with on this one. It’s been so lovely to reminisce on my University experience with this project, creating the storyboard, shot list + shooting schedule really took me back🙌🏼I’m so excited to witness the elevation of this brand in all its beauty✍🏻👟

1 WHOLE YEAR OF PIXIE💐Wooooow. Around a whole year ago I was sat in my bed for a full day watching YouTube videos about SMM businesses and videography hacks, trying to scramble all of my creative ideas together to create some sort of employment for myself. I completed my Film Production degree through the Covid lockdown, sketching each shot of the films I wrote with oil pastels. I was working at a call centre when I started my business, spending lunchtimes, breaks and evenings creating my brand kit and planning for the future from the very beginning. The past year has been super challenging but absolutely incredible, I have so much gratitude for everybody who put their trust in me as I was starting up and finding my feet, allowing me to have my own little impact on their business✨. Doing this has been one of the best things I have ever done, I’ve learnt so much about myself through the process and I am so excited to continue growing as I go. WHY your IG followers AREN’T growing🙅🏻♀️🛑👇🏻 First of all, SAVE this post so you can make the required changes to YOUR content and post VALUABLE + ENGAGING content CONSISTENTLY✨☁️ 1. You checked out the IG algorithm 6 months ago and did some research on what’s working to increase reach… and you’ve been doing the same thing EVER. SINCE. Girl, change with the times! People’s tastes are changing all the time, we can’t apply the same strategies forever! 2. You’re NOT using CTAs ???? When you’re scrolling through your home page, how often is it that you comment / save / follow off your own back? Rare? I think so. Think about yourself. You’re much more likely to engage if you’re given a nudge. Apply these same strategies to those consuming YOUR content. 3. There’s no HOOK. You have a window of 3 seconds to grab your consumer’s attention. If there’s no hook, wave them 👋🏻GOODBYE👋🏻. They’re already watching a video of a cute puppy now, well done 😕. GRAB THAT ATTENTION!!! 4. Your brand identity is WHERE ???? Not here. Your potential customers + clients want to trust your brand. If your branding is all over the place, it’s hard to believe in it. You know that already. APPLY it. Be CONSISTENT with colours, fonts + graphics. 5. There’s no VALUE. Would you hit FOLLOW on an account for fun? If they were providing you with NOTHING? Nope.
