Things to do in 📍FairPlay, CO 📌Save + send to who you are going with! Stay @dbdens- 2 cabins in the area that I have shared both of! I love both and they have super nice amenities, spacious, hot tubs, coffee, robes. You need it, it’s there! @mojoscoffeeshopandbakery for great coffee, breakfast on the go + baked goods! I tried the French toast latte with the French toast 👌🏻 they also have amazing sweets like Rice Krispies with different candy and chocolate 😍 chocolate covered pretzels and more! Perfect for a pit stop on the way to skiing ⛷️ @snitchingladydistillery is honestly my favorite distillery in the state. Every drink I have had here is so delicious. Their menu changes seasonally. They are dog friendly 🐾 also have live music some nights! @zenren_healingarts was great for a relaxing massage to book with your weekend getaway. I never had a massage before and felt very comfortable. She is also great about going to local airbnbs to provide the experience so check her out! Other overlooks I recommend are Coke Ovens Overlook + Ute Canyon Overlook We also loved train running on Black Ridge Trail, more details to come on that! Must visit cocktail bars in 📍Colorado Springs Which one are you going to? 📌Save for later! 1. @therabbithole719 is an underground cocktail bar that is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. They have great drinks & ambiance. Reservation is needed here. Did you know it used to be the city morgue? 2. @brooklynsonboulder is personal favorite- a speakeasy with amazing gin drinks from @leespiritsco 3. @corkandcask is one of my favorite patios in CO Springs with the fire pits and Mountain View’s. Great drinks & selection of wine + whiskey. Also the soft pretzel is a must 🥨 4. @wildgoosemeetinghouse is a fun spot with live music some evenings and great cocktails. It is also a coffee shop during the day! 5. @axeandtheoakdistillery is located in @ivywildschool and also a great spot for whiskey cocktails and live music 🎶 6. @allusionspeakeasy there are 2 locations and they have really fun themed! Why you need to stay at this Colorado resort at least once! 📌Save + send to who you’re going with! @thebroadmoor was such an amazing experience + I wanted to share more of why you should check it out and especially in January + February when there are great discounts for Colorado appreciation! 1. Everywhere is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t believe they have a full time team that upkeeps the grounds, paintings, etc! 2. The service- Yes, it is a 5 star hotel but everyone was so kind + friendly and go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing stay. I loved when I had my luggage taken to my room on the trip there I got to learn more history about @thebroadmoor 🌟 3. The rooms are simply amazing and if you can, get a balcony room to enjoy the mountain views 🏔️ 4. The dining- The Summit was phenomenal, everything was so good. And there are quite a few dining options on the property or within walking distance 5. History + artifacts- you could spend so much time looking at everything here. There is a whole hallway of fame and a lot of history of Mr. Penrose & his family as well! 6. Unique experiences- We tried falconry and it was such a cool experience that I never even knew you could do prior to this. There is also the spa and other activities you can book through @broadmooroutfitters 7. Shopping- Wish I could have done more of this as there are quite a few shops and boutiques!
