MAN WHO WENT TO COURT OVER REMOVAL FROM WHATSAPP GROUP IS REPORTEDLY BACK TO COURT AGAIN.

Mr. Baitwababo Herbert, the controversial Ugandan WhatsApp group member, who went to court after he was removed from a WhatsApp group, and got an Order compelling the Admins of the group to add him back to the group is reportedly back to court again.

Sometimes in 2017, Mr. Asinguza Allan Mutemba, started a WhatsApp group called 'Buyanja my Roots' with the aim of providing relief in times of loss, doing local volunteer, and helping those who are affected by sandals.

Mr Baitwababo also registered and joined the group.

However, Mr. Baitwababo, was removed from the group on 16 May, 2023, when he wrote to the group's Admi, Asinguza, asking him to produce expenditure of the funds collected from the members who have been registering since its inception.

However, his demand for accountability irked the Admi of the group who removed him.

Annoyed with his removal, Mr. Baitwababo, approached the court to order the group Admins to reinstate him.

When the case came up in the court, Judge Igga Adiru, ordered Asinguza Allan Mutemba, the accused, to return Baitwababo Herbert to the WhatsApp group.

Mr. Baitwababo also got an Order restraining the Admins from ever removing him.

In compliance with the court order, he was reportedly added back to the WhatsApp group and made an Admin.

However, it's reported that after was added back and made an Admi, everyone left and created a new group.

According to the latest reports on social media, Mr. Baitwababo is now heading back to court to get a restraining order, compelling members of the group to return?.

It has been reported that, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his party, have talked about reviewing the minimum wage following his "subsidy is gone" statement and reaction from the NLC.

Any moment that there is an increment in the price of fuel, the Federal Government would talk of cushioning the effects for just Public Servants and would look at other Nigerians as citizens of another country.

As of June 23, 2022, the Bureau of Public Reforms (BPSR), put the number of Public Servants working at the Federal level as 720, 000.

At the state level, it's very hard to get the exact work force as of now. However, Lagos state, which has been top as the state with the highest workforce had just 100, 433, government workers as of 2017.

From 2017 to 2023, there is no way the number of government workers in Lagos state would double. If it's increased, it would not be more than 250,000.

In 2020, Statista puts the number of employees in public servants in Nigeria at 2.12 million.

From 2020 to 2023, there is no way government employees in the whole of Nigeria would hit 10 million.

However, the government would only think of cushioning the effects of hike in price of PMS, which is likely accompanied by hike in price of other commodities for less than 10 million people out over estimated 200 million people.

To the government, the rest are non-citizens and should find how to survive if they could or give up.

In many years to come, it would be very hard for a government to provide what would benefit all Nigerians like the fuel subsidy.
