25 years ago today SLIPKNOT released their game changing landmark Self-Titled album.

I remember the first time I heard the name Slipknot. Back in my junior high days there was a request only music video channel called THE BOX where you could pay a couple bucks over the phone to watch whatever video you wanted.

When the video for "Wait and Bleed" came on it blew me away. It was heavy. It was catchy. And they looked weird as hell 😹

I'll be celebrating 25 years of this album TONIGHT on Metal Shop by giving away some VIP tickets to see them at White River Ampitheater..
