Two new Interior Music tracks are now on Bandcamp and streaming services. The project now stands at ten long form composition intended for sleep, meditation, relaxation and enjoyment. Thanks to all the artists and listeners for being a part of this project, it’s been a pleasure to put together.

Two new Interior Music tracks are out today from close friends of the label.  Low Flung offers up a meandering drone that lays a bed for recordings of rain and rain sticks that are processed to the point of digital haze. Other Joe returns to Best Effort with a simple, but highly effective resting anthem. It runs for 18 minutes, but can easily be played on repeat for much, much longer. Both Danny and Joe are such wonderful and chill humans and we hope you enjoy these wonderful and chill songs.

"Rich Daddies are two anonymous housemates who began writing this EP during one of the world’s longest lockdowns. Rather than the sort of home-listening interiority you might associate with such a protracted spell inside, the songs here are ebullient dancefloor music that speaks to feelings of community and cathartic release. There’s a heavy imprint of UK soundsystem culture here; each track is loaded with bass and moves with a flexing sense of swing – from the turn-of-the-millenium UKG of ‘I Just Can’t Explain It’ and the tightly-coiled dembow rhythm of ‘Get Close’, to the contemporary bass music turns of ‘Heaven’."

New friend joined us for episode twenty four of the Best Effort Show. Myles heads the wonderful mix series and as a DJ is responsible for some of our most-played mixes of the last couple of years. It was an honour to have Myles contribute a soft, home listening session to our show. Host DJ Earl Grey also made an hour long mix which includes mostly new music. Both mixes can now be played back on the Skylab radio app or through Soundcloud. Many thanks!

The first two compositions are now available. They are by Ben Green and Body Corp (Marco Vella). Design was done by Luke Brown and masters are by Joseph Buchan. They are available on a C-60 cassette and digitally through Bandcamp and streaming services.
