The crab and mascarpone cheese squid ink pasta is amazing as well! I recently discovered a new fresh handmade pasta shop/restaurant in Kansas City. Zero Zero pasta sells freshly made pasta and sauces along with a new pasta of the week. I ordered the crab and mascarpone cheese pasta it was absolutely delicious! Be sure to check them out, they are open Tuesday through Saturday.
New Orleans Style BBQ shrimp
**This is the shrimp recipe you’ll be making all year long!!!** I love BBQ shrimp, so I decided to recreate it at home but put a Nawlins twist on it. So New Orleans BBQ style shrimp it is. I played around with spices until I got it just right.
And let me tell you, this dish will not only have you sopping up your French baguettes but slurping all the delicious sauce as well. Trust me, you will definitely be coming back for seconds 😘. I served this dish with butter toasted baguettes, charred lemon and a side salad with housemade dressing.

FashionplateKC Spring Culinary Experience
In 2016, God placed a vision in my heart. I wrestled with executing the idea for two years before my best friend pushed me to move forward. When I announced the event six weeks before the date, I was terrified that people would not respond or even attend. Fear is paralyzing, and it’s also a lie.
I moved forward in fear, and within six hours my event was more than half sold out. By the end of the week it was completely sold out. I cried, “Lord, I thank you!”. My first event as a brand was here, I worked so hard with companies to make it a success and the Lord exceeded my expectations. Brands gave me the best gifts to giveaway as prizes and gift cards often more than what I asked.
“I will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies” - said the Lord. And the table was amazing! I say this not to brag, but to remind you that if he can do it for me he will do it for you. I cannot tell you how many times he keeps adding to my table, giving me what I don’t desire and taking away what I no longer need.
