The golden anniversary tour will kick off on Saturday, 5 October in Armidale, where Cold Chisel based themselves back in 1974-1975 and will then lap around major Australian cities for 7 weeks before culminating on 17 November in the city where the band formed … Adelaide.

“The Big Five-0” will be a night like no other. This time, the band isn’t touring to promote a new album; they are touring for the best possible reason … “because we all love playing gigs together”. Their anniversary provides scope for a show that features all the classic songs with which Cold Chisel carved their unique place in Oz Rock history - Khe Sanh, Bow River, Flame Trees, You Got Nothing I Want, When The War Is Over, My Baby, Cheap Wine, Choirgirl, Last Wave Of Summer, Breakfast At Sweethearts, Forever Now and so many more.

Jimmy has announced a stripped back, intimate, national regional theatre tour – Hell of a Time – to take place through June, July and August, commencing in Western Australia on 12 June and finishing at the Sydney Opera House on 18 August.

The Hell of a Time Tour will see Jimmy in up close and personal mode, telling short stories and tall tales as well as singing some of his favourite songs, including tracks from the Flesh and Wood album. This will be Jimmy’s final tour for 2024 and is expected to sell out in a heartbeat .

Jimmy said “The Hell of a Time Tour is shaping up to be something special. It’s going to be intimate and its going to be a lot of fun. I’m going to play a bunch of my favourite tunes – and when songs are this good its great to strip them back to the bare bones and really tell the stories. We think its going to feel like you guys are sitting in our lounge room. I know you’ll love it.”

AC/DC are up to something. The Aussie rock legends have fired up a mysterious countdown clock over on their official website https://www.acdc.com/ and face book page ..... ticking down to what we can only assume is some kind of big announcement.

As of right now we only have to wait 01 Day : 07 Hrs : 26 Minutes

Captioned “ARE YOU READY” and soundtracked by the band’s 1991 single of the same name, the timer is set to hit zero this Monday night at 7pm AEDT.

Guesses are either a new album drop or a World Tour Announcement.

Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.

Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org).

Olivia is survived by her husband John Easterling; daughter Chloe Lattanzi; sister Sarah Newton-John; brother Toby Newton-John; nieces and nephews Tottie, Fiona and Brett Goldsmith; Emerson, Charlie, Zac, Jeremy, Randall, and Pierz Newton-John; Jude Newton-Stock, Layla Lee; Kira and Tasha Edelstein; and Brin and Valerie Hall.
