Hands down, one of the best meals I've ever had!

It's been a few days and I can't stop thinking of the meal I had . Please listen to me and order what I ordered and you won't be disappointed. These are all dishes so good that you should do what I did and order a bunch and share.

The eggplant pizza is a must! If you don't like eggplant... order it anyway! That's how delicious it was. Pillowly dough with Greek yogurt, aged balsamic and fried eggplant. It's mindblowing. The pickled vegetables with caponata and pesto was perfect to dip the pizza in!

Entrees included squid ink pasta with marinated mussels, clams and calamari. It was absolutely delicious. As was the spaghetti and clam sauce, crab ravioli and lemon chicken. It's hard to tell which was best as they were all so incredibly delicious.

Dessert was incredibly unique. They took my favorite dessert Tiramisu and made it into a Baked Alaska with a lady finger cake, espresso Gelato inside a meringue. Mindblowing!

Thank you so much to for your delicious food, to for sending over so many delicious dishes and a very special thanks to Felice for unsurpassed service. Hearing all about Italy from you made our dinner. Best of luck to this new restaurant. Run, don't walk for a reservation!!

I hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Weekend. I recently went to one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Westchester called . The food and service is impeccable. Delicious wines as well. We started off with the calamari which I highly recommend and I had the pork chop wrapped in prosciutto simmer in a brown brandy sauce and topped with fresh melted mozzarella. It was out of this world. Other notables were the chicken martini, pasta with asparagus and tomatoes and veal marsala. Thanks so much to mulinos for such a delicious dinner!

1st off, Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there, especially mine!
2cd, welcome to the neighborhood ! Tuesday night I was invited to a private dinner where I was able to sample all the delicious menu items. I highly recommend the crab cake, it was packed full of fresh crabmeat and was the perfect started. Other notable dish's were the heriloom tomato salad, sea bass, roast chicken, passion fruit sorbet and pot de creme. The Village Bistro also offered a great wine and signature cocktail list in a relaxing atmosphere previously occupied by . Welcome to the neighborhood Village Bistro!

I posted my healthy dinner last night and awoke to tons of messages for the recipe. I started dieting and doing cardio following my cousins diet and exercise routine and so far loving it. It's basically high protein all day. I'm already feeling better and loving the lean, tasty food. Here's how I made these stuffed peppers.

In a sauteed pan over medium heat I sauteed one large chopped onion in about 3 tablespoons of for about 8-10 minutes till tranalucent. I added 5-6 chopped garlic cloves and sauteed another 2 minutes till fragrent.
I added 2 pounds of lean ground turkey to the pan and cooked till no longer pink, about ten minutes.
Meanwhile I cooked 1 1/2 cups of quinoa in 3 cups of low sodium chicken stock for 15 minutes, then drained and set aside.
Back to the turkey, I added 1 can of San marzano tomatoes that I chopped by hand, reaevinf the juices. I also added 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon oregeno, 1/2 cup locatelli cheese, the quinoa and cooked about ten minutes simmering so the flavors meld.
I took the tops off of 4 peppers and stuffed them with the mixture. I added a little oil to the dish and about 1/4 cup water. I added 1/3 cup of ketchup to the reserved tomatoes and poured on top of each pepper and into the dish. It went into a 350* oven for an hour and not only did it make my house smell amazing, it was insanely delicious. It's filled with protein, very filling and made my 3 mile run today so much easier.

Last trip of the year for me and what a delicious lunch in Los Angeles at Little Beach House in Malibu. does a great job with food and beautiful views of the pacific.

Lunch started with Muhammara, red pepper and almond spread with chili compote as an appetizer followed by a delicious Greek salad with a variety of local tomatoes, olives, feta and sweet vinaigrette. The SoHo Mule made with 42 below, lime, ginger and soda was very good too. Thanks so much SoHo House for the amazing hospitality and lunch!

I posted this cornbread in my story a couple of weeks ago and still getting messages about it. It was very easy and very fillings I took three different recipes I had and winged it by adding them all together and it was a massive success. Very moist and light corn bread and adding hot honey made it perfect. Here’s how I did it.

In a bowl I mixed:
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons hot honey
1 - 14.75 ounce can creamed corn
1 - 14.75 ounce can whole corn
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 boxes Jiffy Corn Muffin mix

In a bowl I mixed all these ingredients and poured the batter into a greased 9”X9” baking dish and placed into a 400* oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Meanwhile I made a hot honey glaze.

Hot honey glaze
1/3 cup hot honey
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Mix the 3 ingredients and baste it on the cornbread the last 5 minutes of cooking. It will go on gloopy and glossy but will cook into the corn bread.

Save this recipe, it’s a keeper!

Adrianna’s in New Haven has to be one of my favorite spots for Italian. The food is all so authentic and insanely delicious. I recently celebrated a friends birthday there and the food was exceptional as always. We feasted on calamari, broccoli rabe and sausage, salads, pasta with clams, chicken cutlets, veal, chicken parm, you name it. And it was all delicious served in a cozy atmosphere. If you’re in the state of Connecticut, I highly recommend you give Adrianna’s a try.

I made these amazing chicken cutlets earlier this week, posted it in my story and my inbox got flooded with how to make them so here goes!

1½pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4), halved and pounded ¼-inch thick
Kosher salt and pepper
3large lemons
2eggs, beaten
½cup very finely chopped flat-leaf Italian parsley
1¼cups bread crumbs
¼cup all-purpose flour
¼cup finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
2teaspoons dried oregano
⅓cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for frying
1 garlic clove, minced

Zest 1 lemon, reserving the zest for the bread crumbs, then halve the lemon and squeeze all its juice into a medium bowl. Add the eggs to the juice and beat to combine. Add the seasoned chicken and turn to coat.

In a medium bowl, combine the zest and juice of the remaining 2 lemons; stir in ¼ cup of the parsley.

In a shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, flour, cheese, oregano and the remaining parsley. Add the reserved lemon zest and, using a fork, press the zest into the bread crumb mixture to combine evenly.

Working one at a time, press each chicken breast into the bread crumb mixture, using your fingers to help thoroughly coat it on both sides; place on a sheet pan.

Heat about ⅓ cup of oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Working in batches, leaving 1 to 2 inches of space between, add 2 to 3 chicken pieces and cook until golden brown, turning once, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle immediately with salt. Repeat with remaining chicken, adding and heating more oil as needed.

While the first batch of chicken is frying, heat ⅓ cup olive oil in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, just long enough for the garlic to sizzle but not brown. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Once all the chicken is plated, slowly pour the garlic oil into the lemon and parsley mixture and whisk to combine. Before serving, spoon the salmoriglio sauce liberally over the chicken.

The only thing I changed from the recipe is I baked the chicken instead of frying them and I gave them a large squeeze of lemon. Thanks so much to and for the delicious recipe!

My cousin and her boyfriend have been telling me about in Allendale, NJ for some time and last night I was finally able to get there for dinner. It was a fantastic meal which included Calamari, Artichoke Salad, Chicken Savini (chicken breast stuffed with ricotta in a vodka sauce with wild mushrooms) and Chicken Bianco (chicken with wine, asparagus, mushrooms and artichokes). I throughly enjoyed dinner and can’t wait to go back!

Delicious dinner in East Hampton. My family dined on tender calamari and a delicious Greek salad. For dinner I loved the halibut as well as the spicy rigatoni and wild mushroom ravioli. I’m a huge coconut fan so I was set once I heard they served coconut pan a cotta and you can’t beat the chocolate cake. Beautiful sunset views and watching the boats come in and out were the best. I can’t wait to go back.

Olivia Schiacciata or Smashed Olives in English was one of the best dishes my grandmother used to make. I remember my grandmother in the kitchen smashing the Olives with the bottle they came in so clearly. Since it makes such a massive mess with olives flying everywhere, I've tweeked the technique and now by pitted olives with pimento, slice them in half and discard the pimento. Much better for cleanup. I took one pound of pitted olives and added them to a bowl with one head of celery I cleaned and cut into one inch pieces along with one small red onion, sliced. I made the dressing in a bowl by combining 1/3 cup vinager, 1/4 olive oil, about 2 teaspoons basil, 1/2 teaspoons oregano, little salt, pepper, 1-2 cloves garlic grated. I mixed it well and tossed it into the olives. Allow it to marinade overnight and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper the next day and I bet this will be your family's favorite like it is mine.

This is my all time favorite chocolate chip cookie. I make them all the time and always have all the ingredients in my house at all times. The recipe comes from my aunt and my first memory of them would be eating them on Christmas eve. They are so simple to make and I always double the recipe because they go so fast. Here’s how I did it.

In a bowl, I mixed:
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 1/2 cup oatmeal (not instant)
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon banking soda
Pinch of salt
6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

I mixed it well, scooped out large tablespoons full of batter out onto a silpat lined banking sheet and bake in a 350* oven for 10-12 minutes. I promise these will be your favorite cookie!

I made stuffed mushrooms over the weekend for a dinner party and had a ton of requests for the recipe which yes, is my grandmothers! I grew up on these and the breadcrumb mixture or “gonza” as my grandmother called it is pretty versatile, you can use it to stuff mushrooms, peppers or even a turkey. Here’s how I did it.

In a bowl I mixed 1/2 pound plain bread crumbs, 1/4 cup chopped parsley, 3-4 cloves garlic, minced, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon basil, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 cup locatelli cheese, 3-4 plum tomatoes from a can, chopped and 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil.
I mixed it all up, it should have a somewhat moist consistency. If it’s too dry, add a tablespoon or two of olive oil, if it’s too wet, add more breadcrumbs. I removed the caps of 1 pound of mushrooms and stuffed each mushroom. I drizzled olive oil on top to brown and they went into a 350* oven for 35-40 minutes. There were a couple left over which I happily ate for breakfast!

When I’m asked how to be a good cook, my answer always is - always start with quality ingredients! I have always used 4C Foods] panko breadcrumbs in everything, especially my chicken cutlets. I never fry in my house. It’s unhealthy and smells up my entire house so instead I bake my chicken cutlets. When using 4c breadcrumbs, you’d never know they are baked because they come out so crunchy and delicious! They are quite simply, the finest breadcrumbs. I have always been of fan of their iced teas and now just tried their Parmesan cheese which I used Christmas Eve, all night long. If you haven’t tried some of 4c Foods products, I definitely suggest trying them. My baked chicken cutlets are posted on my wall and a massive hit every time I make them.
Thanks to 4C Foods] for the great Christmas gift that I assure you will be put to good use!

22/12/2022

Thanks to and for the delicious Flancocho recipe that was a huge hit for a Christmas party I just went to this weekend. Super easy and incredibly delicious. Here’s how I made it.
In a small pot, bring 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to boil over high heat. Stir often 7-10 minutes until the sugar syrup turns amber.
Spray a Bundt pan with non stick spray and add the sugar syrup to a Bundt pan.
Next, add to a blender 5 eggs, 1 can of evaporated milk and 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 can of coconut milk, 2 teaspoons of coconut extract and blend for one minute and pour into the Bundt pan. Then I made a cake following their instructions and added 1 cup of coconut. Then I poured the batter over the flan. I put the Bundt pan covered in aluminum foil into a water bath and added it to a 350* oven for an hour and 20 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely and then refrigerate it for at least 4 hours.
When ready to serve, flip the cake over onto a platter and sprinkle with more coconut and enjoy.
This cake is incredibly delicious and not very sweet. Try it for Christmas this weekend if your looking for an easy and delicious dessert!

I am a new subscriber to and just made their chocolate almond cake to rave reviews. I recently had my family over for Christmas drinks and dinner and served this cake for dessert. When there’s nothing left on the plate and everyone asks for the recipe, I know it’s a hit. I was a little unsure about the cake recipe when I finished the batter and it was very thin. Usually all my cake batter are very thick and this one was very runny but it produced a very moist cake which was light and airy. Once cooked I soaked the cake in sweetened condescend milk and coconut before adding the buttercream topping covered in almonds and more coconut. This recipe is a hit and can be found in newest edition. You have a very happy reader on your hands now.

If you're in the Fairfield, CT area, I highly recommend stopping by for dinner. They serve an array of delicious Italian wines and cocktails. The appetizers were so good I wasn't able to shoot them. I loved my Veal Milanese but the Artic Char, Halibut and Pasta with Shrimp were also very good.
The star of dinner for me was the coconut cake drenched in chocolate syrup. It was out of this world. I can't wait to go back for the Almond cake which was made with ladyfingers soaked in Ameretto layered with marscapone, ground almonds and ameretti cookies. A delicious, delicious meal!

I had one of the best lunch’s with one of my friends this week . We started off with the Coconut Shrimp which was made with coconut crusted shrimp, sweet chili sauce, asian slaw with roasted red peppers & crispy onion strings and was simply the best coconut shrimp ever. Then I opted for the servers pick - Candy Popper Burger made with cream cheese, candied bacon, pickled jalapeños & sweet carrots on a pretzel bun. Just amazing.
The four rounds of Jalapeño Mango Margaritas weren’t too bad either. Great job guys, I can’t wait to come back!
