River Valley Weather Update was formed in 2011 to notify friends and family in Greenwood, AR about hazardous severe weather. After two years of dormancy RVWU is back and better than ever! Run by meteorology students from the University of Oklahoma, RVWU is committed to forecasting for the Fort Smith and River Valley regions and notifying its citizens of any hazardous weather.
