Tucson native Aaron DeFeo is most associated with his role as Casino
Del Sol Resort’s resident property mixologist, where he ran the beverage program for over six years until leaving at the end of 2017. Most recently, DeFeo moved to Phoenix and joined forces with Bitter & Twisted’s Ross Simon to create Little Rituals, a 70-seat reimagining of the hotel bar concept, boasting sweeping views of the Downtown Phoenix nightlife in a dark, intimate lounge setting perfect for both the business traveler, as well as a local’s night out.
Renowned for his imaginative use of natural and locally-sourced ingredients, DeFeo’s cocktails have earned him multiple local and national accolades. Most recently, DeFeo won the 2014 & 2017 World Margarita Championship in Tucson, AZ, and the 2013 Woodford Reserve Manhattan Experience Arizona competition with his interpretation of the classic Manhattan. He is also a two-time national finalist for GQ’s Most Imaginative Bartender Competition, and in 2013 was named the Arizona Restaurant Association’s “Mixologist of the
Year”, and a finalist in 2015 for both Mixologist of the Year & Top Beverage Program.
A passionate advocate of creative mixology, DeFeo holds more than 17 years of experience and has been credited with elevating Arizona’s cocktail culture. His creations blend familiar spirits with unexpected flavors, creating an extraordinary flavor experience. He has also been an assistant producer for Arizona Cocktail Week.
During his career, DeFeo has competed in more than 25 national and international competitions and has been featured in several publications, including Nightclub & Bar Magazine, The Tasting Panel, Imbibe Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and FoxNews.com. He is also a contributing writer for WineInquirer.com, Nightclub.com and Savor Magazine.

On the Rocks, a narrative nonfiction book written by Maria Costanzo Palmer and Ruthie Robbins, chronicles the journey of personality Joseph Costanzo, Jr. in his rise to success in the 1990’s as world renowned restaurateur and owner of The Primadonna Restaurant, radio host, columnist, and aspiring politician through his sharp fall ending in an investigation and a stint in federal prison in the early 2000’s. Former competitive bodybuilder turned gourmet plant-based chef, Nina Curtis says she decided to overhaul her diet about 20 years ago after realizing her body “didn’t want animal-based protein” anymore.
“I had to break up with salmon because it was already breaking up with me! I listened to my body. And started studying everything I could find to better understand the connection between nutrition and how the body works,” she explained in a blog post. “I became my own lab, experimenting with different fruits and vegetables, and found I could increase my lifting and my recovery time by living a plant-based lifestyle.”
Curtis earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and a plant-based nutrition certification from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies at Cornell. Curtis has a rather extensive vegan culinary resume. She worked in established venues such as The Ranch in Malibu, Pure Food and Wine in New York, the Springs Restaurant and Wine Bar in Los Angeles, the Marriott Group, and Hilton Hotels. Now, she is the director and executive chef of Adventist Health. The faith-based, nonprofit integrated health system has locations in more than 80 communities in Hawaii and on the West Coast.

A love of travel, different cultures, world history and wine, is what led me to pursue my passion of all things wine.
Moving from California’s Monterey Bay area to Utah in 1998, I began working first at Snowbird, then Deer Valley Resort. This led to many travel opportunities, where I always found myself near wine regions. Upon exploring this fascination for what goes into the bottle a new passion was ignited, and I’ve never looked back. Sharing my love of wine with others has led me to pursue more education, more travel and a more in depth love of the vine and wine.
I received my Intro Sommelier with the Court of the Masters and became a Certified Sommelier with International Wine Guild in 2011, followed by Certified Specialist of Wine – CSW in 2015 through the Society of Wine Educators, and in 2018 obtained Certified Wine Educator – CWE, only shared by 443 others in the world, which allows me to teach anywhere on the planet. In June of 2020, during the COVID lockdown I was able to pass the American Wine Expert course with honors!
I founded Park City Wine Club in 2012 to bring wine tasting, pairing and fun to our community, showcasing menu items from many local restaurants and tasting wines from all over the world. In addition, I am the state educator for the employees of Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control, a Professor since 2011 with Fox School of Wine and the Director of Education with the Culinary Wine Institute.
Rather a novice or enthusiast there is something for everyone in the world of wine!

Mary Sue Milliken - Chef and Co-Owner of Border Grill
Mary Sue Milliken is an American chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and radio and TV personality with a focus on Latin cuisine in the United States.
Milliken is a graduate of Chicago's Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute.
After working together in Chicago and Paris, Milliken and her longtime collaborator, Susan Feniger, settled in Los Angeles where they founded the critically acclaimed City Cafe in 1981.[1] They eventually expanded to a larger space on La Brea Avenue, renaming the establishment CITY Restaurant. In 1985, they opened the Mexican restaurant Border Grill in the original City Cafe space, before moving it to Santa Monica in 1990. The restaurant later expanded to Pasadena (closed) and the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.[2] Broadening their culinary horizons, Milliken and her partner opened Ciudad in Los Angeles in 1998. The success of the three restaurants has often led Milliken and Feniger to be recognized for single-handedly changing Los Angeles' culinary landscape.

In collaboration with Feniger and others, Milliken has published five cookbooks: City Cuisine (1989), Mesa Mexicana (1994), Cantina: The Best of Casual Mexican Cooking (1996), Cooking with Too Hot Tamales (1997) and Mexican Cooking for Dummies (1999/2002).
Milliken is also a seasoned TV personality, starring with Feniger in 396 episodes of Too Hot Tamales and Tamales World Tour on the Food Network in the 1990s. Prior to the shows on the Food Network, in 1993 Milliken and Feniger appeared with Julia Child in her PBS series Cooking With Master Chefs.[5] Milliken also prepared with Feniger the food that was served in the 2001 movie, Tortilla Soup.
Milliken and Feniger were a team of sixteen chefs on the Julia Child series, Cooking With Master Chefs in 1993.
Most recently, Milliken appeared on the third season of Top Chef Masters that aired in 2011. She was the first runner up and won $40,000

am the Cooking Guy is an everyday guy who has found a way to make cooking casually understandable. With no fancy equipment and by speaking English instead of ‘chef-speak,’ I’m sort of the everyman of cooking. I have two shows, the TV show SAM THE COOKING GUY airs on YUR VIEW with COX, and my online show, STCGO. Both are shot right in my house – and I cook with my kids, dogs – just like we all do. There’s no fois gras… no white truffle oil, no ‘Peruvian mountain-raised squab in sesame-lime-soy marinade stuffed with braised forest turnips and wild enoki mushrooms in a hand pressed plum and raspberry glaze’. I’m just a regular guy, using regular words showing how to cook easy, great food… Food that’s ‘big in taste and small in effort’. It’s a handful of ingredients and a few steps – that’s it. This is a cooking show “for the rest of us,” I like to say.

Chipperbec potatoes - The World's Greatest Frying Potatoe
Chipperbec potatoes have been developed over the past 40 years by America’s most experienced potato farmers to meet all of the demands of today’s restaurant chefs.
While Chipperbecs are the world's greatest frying and chipping potato, they are also a wonderful potato for mashing, potato salads, potato pancakes, shepherd’s pies, and more.
And as for vitamins and minerals, white potatoes are stuffed with vitamins C, B6, niacin, folate, potassium, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus.
The Chipperbec potato is a brand of a white round potato variety, which has been commonly referred to as a “Kennebec” or “Kennebec-style” potatoes in recent years.
The actual Kennebec, a specific variety of white potato, existing today as an heirloom crop, is no longer grown in mass quantities and the word “Kennebec” has incorrectly been used in the industry as a general term for white chipping potatoes.
