Just another Thursday night… Pheweee! 😅🤩😜

Well that was fun! Going LIVE on air to over 3,700 listeners for the weekly show on FMR Radio! 📻

Disclosure: Ok so I’m actually pretty shy… almost so much that standing on a stage is probably the hardest thing I’ve had to do so far on this whole DJing journey so far! Picking up the mic and talking on air is pushing me waaayyyy beyond my comfort zone… BUT it’s actually pretty fun and doing something that takes us out of our comfort zone is good right?!

~Winter as a dj~

I’m beginning to learn the pattern of the dj life now… Summer is insanely busy with events popping up and last minute bookings and plans along with the little people being off school for the chunk of time when things are most hectic… and it’s very fun but busy!

So I’m learning that winter, for me at least is time to try and slow down. Make plans for the year, work on creative projects, focus on fitness, get stuff organised, eat well and slow down if at all possible. Though tips on how to slow down as a creative person with a mind that’s always thinking up new ideas very grateful received!? 💫

💜Rave OM presents: Conscious Clubbing with and at Scorrier House, Cornwall.

✨️17th January 7-10pm

‘Rave OM is a conscious dance event that is part dance party, part rave-ritual, and part movement meditation. This sober gathering reclaims music as the high and puts community at its heart.

Its Bobbys birthday so he wanted to do something special and we thought why not do a celebration of club music!

This is the naturally uplifting club night Cornwall has been craving, wether you are a sober curious dry janurarian, a legacy raver, sober superhero or just don’t want the usual nonsense that comes with clubs (sticky floors, unwanted eyes, smelly breath, elbows and clumsy feet to name a few. Rave OM renames music and community as the drug. Rewire your neural pathways: relax, let loose, dance and party on a natural high!

We’ve designed our clubnights with sober ravers comfort in mind. So we limit the numbers to make sure there is room on the dance floor to fully express yourself. We also encourage clubbers to dance without footwear where possible. We also have a no photos/videos policy in place so that we put away the distraction and that all can feel like they are living for the vibe and not for the likes.

With everyone on a natural high, the mood at Rave OM nights is one of openness, celebration and connection. This conscious club night is an invitation to let go in a non-judgemental space, unwinding your body and mind as we come together to celebrate joy of club culture without the downsides. Our handpicked line-up oftop notch DJs will select the choisest club music cuts to keep the floor alive.

Rave OM takes place at the majestic Scorrier House where lush gardens and magical landscapes form the backdrop for this evening of uninhibited movement, vibrant rhythms, and pure expression.
Sobar will be serving up non alcholic cocktails and a range of AF Beers in the Bar space’.
