Our founder and native-Texan, Ceslie Armstrong, is an award-winning journalist and producer who spent over 20 years working in media, entertainment and hospitality in NYC and LA. She is recognized by the State of Texas with a Senate Bill honoring her for her excellence in journalism and contribution to the Texas Hill Country. Learning to cook at a young age alongside her southern-raised grandmother in San Antonio and classically French trained aunt in Acapulco, she began working in restaurants at age 15; cooked and sang for her supper to get through college; then continued her career in hospitality as a restaurateur and consultant. She has hosted celebrities, world leaders, chefs, artists, business icons, and according to Ceslie, “the most interesting people are locals who make our world better each day.” Ask her what she does now and you'll hear, "I make food and entertainment that makes people feel good!"
