It lays out Meierkord's trademark drones and subtle cello arcs, while Ni!'s clarinet and saxophones dance lightly over the top, preluding what's to come later in the album.

Thrilled to at long last share this wonderful album with you all, after the artists have been so patient while I took a slight pause.

That's right, we have a new Henrik Meierkord album on the way, this time with multi-instrumentalist Ni! providing saxophones, clarinet, and trumpet for an ambient-classical-jazz cross!

Accompanying this stunning album are 15 limited edition wooden boxes, containing a wooden stick USB of the lossless audio, and forest photographs by the fantastic Pirmin Föllmi.

Hi everyone! It's been a while.

It's been more than two and a half years since Jupi/ter released the second instalment of his 'Islands' series, so it's about time we brought about the third.

https://ambientologist.bandcamp.com/album/islands-pt-3

After Pt. 1's expansive portrait of our planet, and Pt. 2's vision of interconnection, 'Islands, Pt. 3' addresses the lineages and decay that take us through the other side.

Jupi/ter brings his unique swirling compositions that push the boundaries of space, with his distinctive melodic patched and surprise twists that evoke and enquire around the EP's subject.

Featuring the mastering skills of the legendary Chihei Hatakeyama.

A truly engulfing experience, and one that we're blessed to have featured on Ambient Echoes.

Also released yesterday was this gorgeous piece from Anita Tatlow Music and Be Still The Earth / Marshall Usinger, entitled 'Respite'. Again channeling emotion from the spectrum of anxiety & hope, in a way only Vocal Ambient can 😌

Across the various collaborations, Ambient Echoes blends the two distinctive sonic profiles of both labels, with the open, sacred-sounding reveries of Echoes Blue married with the more pensive, experimental-leaning sounds common of Ambientologist.

Enjoy!

Thrilled to announce a new collaborative project between Ambientologist and the spectacular Echoes Blue - a new series focusing on Vocal Ambient and its capacity for complex emotion.

Seven pairs of artists got together to write a piece, channeling emotion from the spectrum of anxiety & hope, the chosen theme of Volume 1. Seven uniquely nuanced pieces, featuring artists from across the two labels.

Kicking it off here are two household Ambientologist names, Henrik Meierkord and Sole Gipp Ossler, with their stunning piece, 'Respite'. You can listen to it on streaming, or pre-order the full album on Bandcamp: https://linktr.ee/ambientologist
