There is certainly a Type when it comes to the MMC in an Ali book and I am fully here for them!!

I love Ali’s books. I have read them all and just finished listening to all the audiobooks. These books make my heart happy, I always giggle here and there. They are my feel good reads.

I saw reading this and thought I’d give it a try. I am so happy I did!!!

This is a magical, wolf shiftier, paranormal romance type book. The premise is that non-humans are now exposed due to the universal glamor unraveling. I thought this was a really cool idea. Suddenly everyone one has to deal with new physical features, species and way of life.

I LOVED Van and Ellie, our main characters. Evander (Van) is strong, soft and a horn dog! I was be “oh that’s so sweet” and then he’d be like “I’ll make you overflow with my 💦” 🥵. Haha but actually the s**t to plot was really well balanced.

I don’t think I have read a book based in New Zealand and I don’t know much about the Māroi people. I was impressed with the information and focus of the indigenous peoples of this country.

My only criticism is that the chapters are Long!! As a “I’ll just read one more chapter, then stop” girl, 45min chapters were a hit haha!!

Off to find more books that have me howling at the moon 🌝
