The Counter Attack is a football blog which aims to to provide break down of interesting matches looking at tactics, team shape and key combinations through out a game which TV and radio pundits often don't look into. While mainly looking at 'the play' we will also were appropriate use stats and chalk boards to deomonstrate these. It should be noted though that this blog will primarly look at pass
ages of play as statistics don't always tell the whole story. As the blog develops The Counter Attack will look at issues behind the scene's of football from youth development the lack of English football managers and provide head to head comparisons between temas at in the Champions League and English Premier League.
