And we're all out of bubble gum. In 2010, major label marketing and A&R veteran Thom Hazaert, with a resume boasting involvement on hundreds of releases from artists including Chimaira, Cold, Limp Bizkit, Staind, Nine Inch Nails, Rollins Band, Papa Roach, Tupac Shakur, and many more, plus almost a decade at the helm of powerhouse independent label Corporate Punishment Records, launched THC : Music
and Films, a new label, consulting, management, and film company. Initially distributed by Rocket Science Ventures/Sony RED. THC would release 2011-12 releases from Slaves on Dope, Attika 7 (featuring Evan Seinfeld of Biohazard), Oedipus, Dirge Within, Knockout Kid, Primer 55, and Black Light Burns, "the avant-garde altar ego of Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland." Additionally in 2012, THC released the single "Sugars of Someday", also co-produced by Hazaert, the first new music from American Head Charge since 2005's The Feeding. In September 2012 it was announced that THC had signed a distribution deal with Ingrooves/Fontana/Universal and actively released several titles, before partnering with EMP LABEL GROUP in 2016, with joint A&R and Marketing Operations overseen by Hazaert, co-releasing albums from Chuck Mosley (Faith No More), Kik Tracee, Malfunkshun, and more. Hazaert also oversaw A&R, Marketing, and day to day operations of EMP LABEL GROUP for over 5 years, including releases from Doyle (Misfits), Mark Slaughter, Madam X, Autograph, Helstar, Dangerous Toys, Last Crack, and many more. In 2015, THC Films, with Hazaert at the helm, produced and directed the documentary featurette, "No More Mr. Nice Guy, The Music of Shocker", which appeared on the Scream Factory Blu-Ray release edition of Wes Craven's Shocker. Hazaert has also been involved with special feature production for classic genre films including Army of Darkness, The Exorcist 3, Return of the Living Dead, and People Under The Stairs, as well as serving as a producer on the music business documentary "It's A Long Way To The Top", featuring members of Def Leppard, Weezer, Limp Bizkit, Nine Inch Nails, The Sword, and more.
